MedTech startup, and Imperial College London spinout, Accunea Ltd., has developed a new device to help 'transform' kidney care and increase the number of organs available for transplantation. The 'RenoSure' device can assess an organ's condition accurately and in real time before kidney transplants, helping prevent good organs from going to waste and save lives. According to Accunea, RenoSure could reduce strain on health services and improve patient outcomes by using unique its tech to monitor multiple biomarkers of kidney function and metabolism.
