I am MAIS-2 student. I have always been passionate about the role of media in international affairs. I believe that the way we communicate, share global events and their analyses (when it comes to the work of Polemics), can captivate a wider audience when presented in an engaging and visually compelling manner. Presenting you this year’s board of Polemics Magazine: Now we’re introducing our Managing Editor, Jolán Mária Bogányi! "Hey everyone! I’m Jolán Bogányi, and I’m excited to announce that as a part of the board 2024-2025, I will be serving as the Managing Editor of our magazine. Polemics is a unique platform where we encourage discussions on complex and controversial topics, and we’re especially interested in exploring different, non-mainstream perspectives—always well-argued and thoughtful, of course. With our team coming from a variety of cultural backgrounds, we aim to provide a space where diverse viewpoints can be heard and debated. Personally, I have a strong interest in the Middle East, and I’m looking forward to contributing to our magazine on this important topic." #Polemics #PolemicsMagazine #DiplomaticAcademyofVienna #DiplomatischeAkademieWien Diplomatische Akademie Wien

Presenting you this year’s board of Polemics Magazine: Today, we’re introducing our second Co-Editor in Chief, Marlene Palan! "Hi everyone! My name's Marlene, I’m a MAIS-2 student and I'm thrilled to be one of Polemics' Editors-in-Chief for this upcoming year! Polemics is a fantastic place to share your thoughts, become part of a vibrant community of creative and ambitious individuals, and gain experience in writing and editing that will help you on your future path. Through my background in literary studies and deep interest in the world of writing and literature (any fellow Shakespeare enthusiasts out there?), it only made sense for me to join the team last year and I look forward to seeing what current world issues we’ll tackle in this academic year’s upcoming issues! 😊" #Polemics #PolemicsMagazine #DiplomaticAcademyofVienna #DiplomatischeAkademieWien Diplomatische Akademie Wien

Presenting you this year's board of the Polemics Magazine and starting with our Co-Editor in Chief Sergio Uribe Henao! "Hello, I’m Sergio and I’m looking forward to serving as an Editor-in-Chief of Polemics for the academic year. My past professional experience is in democracy and good governance development programming in Latin America and electoral politics in the United States, where I have worked in a variety of roles in presidential campaigns. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, where I studied Political Science and the French Language. My goal for this year is to use Polemics as a platform for students to actively share and discuss their views on matters of international consequence. I’m looking forward to channeling the diverse intellectual points of view from our student body into our publication. Please feel free to reach out if you have an interesting idea for an article. Looking forward to working with you this year!" #Polemics #PolemicsMagazine #DiplomaticAcademyofVienna #DiplomatischeAkademieWien Diplomatische Akademie Wien
