Every month, our admin team meets at the company for breakfast. Each month someone else prepares it. Today it was the turn of our colleague Greta Teresa Pomberger from the Legal Department. There was lots of healthy hummus and fruit and vegetables. Cheers! ☕️ 🥯 🍇 🍅 #breakfast #team #admin #staff #employment

Yesterday our colleague Nikolina Pervan took part in the academic baking contest again, which she already won last year. 👩🍳 As the favorite, she was also able to bring home the trophy in 2024 with her dessert: “DUBAI PV module (DUrable, Building Attached/ Integrated PV module)”. 🥇🏆 Not surprising, given this well thought-out sample. 🍰🎂 Congratulations and we are delighted that our staff is so creative and well-rounded. You can see the masterpiece on the slides.🙀 #forschung #entwicklung #austria #polymer #polymerscience #cometcenter #employment

We recently published our first article in the prestigious Journal of the American Chemical Society 😀 In it, Bernhard Sölle successfully demonstrates how the dynamic properties of a network can be easily tuned by the color and dose of light used during curing. The research was conducted in close collaboration with Max Schmallegger from Technische Universität Graz, who helped us a lot in characterizing the photolysis reaction of our monomers. 🔬 💡 🧑🔬 https://lnkd.in/dp4iQ_Pc #polymercompetencecenterleoben #tugraz #teamwork

Last Thursday, our employees came together for the annual punch drinking followed by a Christmas dinner and celebration. 🌟 Of course, we have a few insights for you 🎊 By the way, the punch is prepared by our employees themselves every year and making it is a lot of fun and inspires ambition in all the cooks. 👩🔬 Every year, the staff first meets at the company, as the CEO gives a speech looking back on 2024. 🗣 Afterwards, the punch is tasted and then this year everyone went on to Christmas dinner with the Erlsbacher family. Around 80 employees attended and enjoyed the delicious regional food. 🥂🍽 We also have a decorated PCCL Christmas tree every year, which of course comes from Styria. 🎄 #forschung #entwicklung #austria #polymer #polymerscience #cometcenter #employment #christmas #christmasparty #team #2024

🎄CHRISTMAS DONATIONS 🎁 It has become a tradition for us to collect donations internally at Christmas. We did the same this year and raised around 700 euros, which we used to buy games and gifts for children and young people in Leoben. 🎁🎊 Our Christmas angels in the picture made their way to Leoben town hall with the presents and handed them over. 🤝 Thank you to all employees for the donations, you are great. 🤩⭐ #forschung #entwicklung #austria #polymer #polymerscience #cometcenter #employment

Two of our employees, Christoph and Matthias joined for 5 weeks the group of Elvira Vidović at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. 💼🌊 This cooperation was within the Austrian-Croatian bilateral cooperation under the title “Multi-material printing with functional methyl methacrylate resins. During their stay Matthias focused his work on the synthesis and characterization of different thermal-latent catalysts as well as on the possibilities to enhance the conductivity in vitrimeric-composites. Christoph used his time on the research for frontal-polymerizable dynamic networks. Outside of their work Matthias and Christoph visited Bosnia, Croatian towns like Slunj, Knin, Zadar and Split, and hiked on the highest mountain of Croatia the Dinara. Furthermore, a special thanks go to Elvira Vidović and her research group for their excellent hospitality and engagement throughout their stay. Both are looking forward to working again in her group. 🤝 #forschung #entwicklung #austria #polymer #polymerscience #cometcenter #employment
