From Vienna's Christmas markets to the warm sunshine of Uganda, the Relevant Ventures team has been celebrating the spirit of the season and the incredible journey of 2024. ✨ Here are some of the festive moments we shared as a team in the previous weeks: During our heartwarming online checkout, we had a big round of appreciation for everything we achieved in 2024 as Relevant Ventures and for the strong relationships we’ve built as a team. Our European team gathered in Vienna for a week to enjoy the advent atmosphere, run ideation workshops to explore new approaches for catalyzing impact entrepreneurship. The week culminated in a downtown gathering where we connected with fellow changemakers at the Impact Hub’s Christmas party! Meanwhile at the equator, our Ugandan team is celebrating the season with sunny Christmas gatherings. For the third consecutive year, our team is thrilled to work with the inspiring entrepreneurs participating in the Re:Wien program, organized by Impact Hub Vienna. Here is a glimpse into the atmosphere of a business planning session delivered by our colleagues Eleonora Ricco and Stefan Kurandić last week. Kudos to Marina Stögner for the amazing moderation of this program. After covering best practices for communicating a business using 10 slides, we discussed in depth the challenges raised by founders: How should we approach a go-to-market strategy if the business model is complex? How do we balance transparency and efficiency when communicating financials and the investment opportunity? Re:Wien is an accelerator program by Impact Hub Vienna designed to support entrepreneurs who develop sustainable products and services that contribute to a more resilient, inclusive, and eco-friendly Vienna. It offers tailored mentoring, coaching, and networking opportunities to help these innovators refine their concepts, scale their impact, and create positive change in the city. Last Friday was marked by a dynamic Investment Readiness Masterclass co-delivered by our colleague Niwamanya Edson at the Impact Days Kampala organized by the Einstein Rising. After sharing the research insights collected from interviewing Investors and in Uganda, Edson and Michelle Mboha engaged directly with the entrepreneurs in the audience. The discussions centered around investor expectations, investment readiness best practices and various instruments of financing.
