Another amazing year for scan.art comes to an end, with incredible exhibitions, art festivals and art fairs around the world, as well as the first annual scan.art Emerging Artist Prize and countless artists using scan.art for their daily business and exhibitions. We often get asked about our favourite artworks we see during the year. This year, one of them was the charcoal pencil drawing "Mediterranean Grandmother" by Croatian Artist Mario Javoran. "In a small wooden boat, surrounded by the vast sea, an old woman holds a fish tank with two sardines. This ode to Mediterranean grandmothers reflects their unwavering love as they nurture and protect their grandchildren, even if it means shielding them from the world they belong to. Their love is a beacon of tradition and resilience."
