A huge thank you to Susannah Fox for her encouraging words after the pitch of Turn-Motion! Your talk was not only inspiring but also crucial for everyone in the health sector to hear. Patients are the true experts in their own lives; they navigate their unique challenges and deserve a platform to voice their experiences. This occasion was particularly special in that regard—not focused on profits or scaling, but on the people affected by health issues—the "invisible" among us, as Susannah so eloquently put it. I also want to extend my gratitude to the Health Hub Vienna team. I was truly overwhelmed by the inspiring vibes and the professionalism of the event. Every stage we step onto with Turn-Motion feels bigger and more impactful, and the approval we've received at each event is incredible.
Inspiring talk by Georg Popp about his groundbreaking work on lower limb custom fit orthoses and exoskeletons here at the Health Hub Vienna innovation summit. His left leg is paralyzed due to a rare reaction to the polio vaccine - an issue that is swept under the rug and therefore invisible to mainstream health care. He is a #RebelHealth Solver, attacking a problem he lives with, raising the visibility of all those with lower limb challenges - and there are many, as the slide shows.
