𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟮/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝟮6 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘇 The recently completed A26 Danube Bridge in Linz is not only impressive due to its structure as suspension bridge but also due to its ultramodern measurement technology. Precise examinations of cable damping are essential to ensure the safety and long-life cycle of such cable-supported structures. After completion of the bridge our experts from the Competence Center Structural Health Monitoring – Martin Fritz, 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿 and Peter Furtner – were assigned with the determination of damping of the suspension cables and selected hanger cables. For this purpose they had to climb to vertiginous heights, supported by professional rope climbers. 🔍 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗽-𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: The cables were systematically put into vibration to be able to measure the decay process by means of highly sensitive acceleration sensors. On the basis of these measurements the self-damping for the relevant eigenfrequencies could be precisely determined. 👉 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Safety by data. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟭/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗕𝗕 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲 Hello from Switzerland: In the current monitoring project on behalf of mageba group we have realized the webuserinterface for the automatic movement control of the Viaduct Seehalde 1 in Herrliberg in the Swiss canton of Zurich. This 110 m long railway bridge (between km 15,524 and km 15,640 of route 730: Winkel - Herrliberg - Feldmeilen), built between 1962 and 1963, daily carries the weight of trains and is now continuously monitored by means of automatic sensors. 📸 Copyright: mageba group #infrastructur #VCE #railway #monitoring

🎉𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗖𝗣.𝗩𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🎉 As the people we love should come first, we opened our doors for the families and friends of our colleagues on 4 October. We experienced memorable moments at the Family Day and shared our place of work in a special way. The laughter and the happy faces of our colleagues and their families make the day unforgettable! There were many exciting stations throughout our office building for young and old: from creative tattoo painting stations and the Bobby car racetrack, the train simulator, the photo box, a VR experience, experiments and "Minecraft Urban Legends" to the crane simulator via robot arm. Special highlights were the FCP IBU GmbH measurement bus and the magic show with Stefan Gruber. Our guests were guided through the stations by our busy ant mascot, which meant even more joy. 🐜 We have felt how proud we are of our company group, and this has made this day a particularly valuable experience. Special thanks go to our committed organization team: 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗺ü𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿, Viktoria Linsbauer, Barbara Winter, Bianca Mick and Juergen Rattenberger – you have perfectly prepared for this day! The course for the future of mobility has been set – from hybrid vehicles to electric mobility up to AI solutions for transport. Our special thanks go to the organization team of InnoTrans as well as to our team FCP Fritsch, Chiari & Partner ZT GmbH, FCP IBU GmbH and 𝗩𝗖𝗘 for the great preparation and support on site – without them we could not have brought our performance at the event on track. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟬/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗔𝗮𝗻𝗽𝗮𝗸 𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗭𝘂𝗶𝗱, 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. The Verdiepte Ligging was completed in summer 2024 and opened to traffic on 1 September 2024.   In the last few years the southern ring motorway through the town of Groningen (A7, Ring Zuid) was repaired and partly newly built on a total length of 12 km due to the high traffic load.   In this process the existing motorway was demolished and relocated underground on 1.2 km. The realized structure (KW19) is a twin-tube tunnel structure in open construction method with 4 traffic lanes per direction each. The approx. 35 m wide structure has both open and closed trough areas.   The method Building Information Modelling (BIM) was used in the design. This contained modelling, plan derivation from the models and 3D coordination with installations and adjoining buildings considering the construction levels. Die ganztägige FSV-Tagung: Brückenprüfer Erfahrungsaustausch bot einen wertvollen Raum für den Austausch über Herausforderungen und innovative Lösungsansätze in der Branche. 🎙️ 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Unser Kollege ROBERT Veit-Egerer hielt im Rahmen der Veranstaltung einen aufschlussreichen Vortrag über die „Untersuchung des Erhaltungszustands und der Belastbarkeit einer alten Stahlfachwerk-Brücke“. Als Leiter des CC „Life Cycle Engineering & Asset Management“ teilte er seine umfassende Expertise in der gutachterlichen Beurteilung von Infrastruktur und der Entwicklung langfristiger Erhaltungskonzepte. Die Tagung, die seit ihrer ersten Durchführung im Jahr 2011 als Plattform für den Austausch von Ideen und Best Practices etabliert ist, wurde bereits zum 7. Mal abgehalten.
