Our in-house patisserie has created a delicious and beautiful cake for the occasion. There is also a pinboard in our canteen where all employees can leave heartfelt messages for their colleagues 💌 A big thank you to our Take Care team and our patisserie for surprising our employees with this great initiative! Happy Dry January! 🙅🍸 The “Dry January” health campaign is all about giving up alcohol in January. This month, our focus is therefore on non-alcoholic drinks. For this reason, our Take Care team surprised our employees with alcohol-free cocktails 😍 There was a choice of “Apple Martini”, “Spicy Chocolate”, “Espresso Vibrante” and “Shirley Temple”. In addition, a workshop was held in our Cascade Bar, where non-alcoholic cocktails were prepared together. The “mocktails” were very well received by our employees. As you can see: it doesn’t always need alcohol 🙌 By the way: not drinking alcohol benefits your physical and mental health as well as your wallet.

On New Years Eve, the majority of our Food & Beverage Team was at the hotel to give our guests the most memorable evening at our vibrant New Years Eve Gala 💫 But of course, our Team should celebrate the new year as well, so they all gathered in our kitchen just shortly after Midnight to celebrate and welcome the new year all together 🤩 Our motivated Vienna Marriott Hotel Team is the absolute best ❤️

On Wednesday, we once again hosted our traditional “XMAS Spectacular” event in our ballroom with our long-standing partners and customers 🎅 With live music, a buffet, numerous food stalls, a craft and gingerbread station, a photo station with Santa Claus and much more, we got into the Christmas spirit together. The Austrian Paralympic Committee, our partner of many years, also visited our Spectacular as well as the ÖBSV, for which donations were diligently collected at the raffle. We would like to thank all our guests for coming – it was a pleasure! ✨

As an Austro-American company, we not only celebrate American traditions but also Austrian classics at the Vienna Marriott Hotel ❤️ That's why our guests were surprised with a sweet gift from Krampus yesterday, and today our Take Care team took over the distribution of healthy and sweet things for our employees in the name of St. Nikolas 🤩 But not only our employees, but also their children were satisfied with a St. Nicholas celebration last weekend, which was organized by the Austrian Business Council - from puppet theater to craft station and gingerbread decorating, there was something for every taste, and of course a visit of St . Nicolas himself can't be missed 💫

Today we celebrate the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” 🥳 We are supporting the #PositivelyPurple campaign today with in-house activities. In doing so, we want to draw attention to the positive contributions and success of people with disabilities. We have been a partner of the “Österreichischer Behindertensportverband” (ÖBSV) for many years, therefore today is a very important day for us 💜 ✨ Our hotel shines in purple today 🥂 The welcome drink for our guests is colored purple with blackberry syrup 🍸 Our Cascade Bar supports the “Österreichischer Behindertensportverband” with the revenue from our “Lychee Sunset Cocktail”.

Such an honor to celebrate this year's apprentice conference #talentschmiede with our Marriott International Leadership Team Satya Anand, Anne-Marie Hannan, Neal Jones, Gitta Brückmann, Pankaj Birla, Andrew Hanel and two of our phenomenal apprentices Ronja Hörmayer & @Leila Amagowa of the Vienna Marriott Hotel. Ronja even got a Top Performer Award as a recognition towards her continuous engagement in our TakeCare Team, the Next Gen Business Council and many other projects besides her normal duties. So proud to have you in our team!!!
