Connections Need Movement! 🧘🏼♀️ Staying focused and working with precision all day can be exhausting! Our movement breaks are the perfect balance. Every day, we take a few minutes to stretch and loosen up with simple exercises. A big thank you to our colleague Sylvia Lindenbauer for bringing this valuable routine into our office life! 😊 Taking this active break isn’t something we take for granted. That’s why we appreciate even more that at ZAUNERGROUP, employee well-being is a top priority. 👏🏼

Whether environmental, social or economic - sustainability is one of the most important but also most complex issues of today. 🌱 As a young team, we are committed to this area with specific goals. Because we know: Change does not happen on its own, it requires commitment and determination. Over the past year, we have implemented various measures to further support the well-being of our employees:   🔸Free access to a professional counseling service for challenging situations 🔸Expansion of our professional and personal development programmes 🔸New concept for the annual employee development meeting   We are also making strides in environmental sustainability. By successfully completing the energy audit in accordance with §42 of the Energy Efficiency Act, we have reached another important milestone in optimising our energy consumption and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. A chapter of connections and new perspectives! 🫱🏼🫲🏼 After more than 25 years at the top of ZAUNERGROUP, we bid farewell to Franz Maurer on his well-deserved retirement. His journey with Manfred Zauner began in 1988 - a time when business was conducted over landline phones and fax machines and service specifications were written by hand. Yet even then, trust, reliability and personal connection with clients were the foundation of success. Together, Franz Maurer and Manfred Zauner have built a strong professional and personal network, which has shaped ZAUNERGROUP since its founding in 1998. From day one, Franz Maurer has been a driving force behind the company’s growth. With energy, foresight and optimism, he has played a crucial role in establishing ZAUNERGROUP as one of the leading companies in industrial plant construction in Austria. 👏🏼 ▶️ His commitment to sustainability and safety deserves special recognition. Franz Maurer was one of the first to recognize the importance of these principles and set the course for ZAUNERGROUP in these areas. Today, these principles remain at the heart of everything we do. At the company, ‘Safety First’ is more than just a slogan - it is a principle that has always been a top priority and extends far beyond workplace safety. Franz Maurer also took responsibility for sustainability. Responsibility for nature and the environment and, above all, for people and employees. His foresighted behavior and implementation of measures have made ZAUNERGROUP a pioneer in these areas. The company has already received several awards for this. We would like to thank Franz Maurer for our time together, his tireless commitment and the many successes we have celebrated together! As a shareholder and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, he will remain closely connected to us. We wish him all the best for this new chapter in life - filled with joy, new experiences, and exciting perspectives! 👋🏼😊

Our motivation is to connect with people and make them feel welcome. That’s why we dedicate time to hosting our Get-Together event. 🫱🏼🫲🏼😊 The Get-Together is a two-day event for our new employees from all locations. Through workshops, team tasks, discussion rounds and small challenges, our ZAUNER Heroes have the opportunity to get to know their colleagues and the company even better. This time, our colleagues from our subsidiary Zauner Inra Engineering GmbH also joined us. It is always inspiring to see the wide range of cultures, age groups, and experiences that come together at ZAUNER. As an international family business, diversity is incredibly important to us because it allows us to learn from one another and gain new perspectives every day. 🌍 A big thanks goes to Marie Strassmayr, who regularly organizes this event with great dedication. We would also like to thank our Group Managing Director Andreas Beck as well as Petra Eder (HR), our Division Manager Michele Petris and David Kronawettleitner from inergy consulting for their time and valuable input. 👏🏼 We are very proud that true team spirit thrives at ZAUNER. 😊

Having a safe roof over one's head and access to clean water – things that many of us take for granted but are, for others, a significant step towards a better life. 🌍🫱🏼🫲🏼 A social project in Nigeria is working to change that! With our support, seven new homes for families and a well providing access to clean water have been built in the towns of Nike Enugu and Okija, Anambra State. This is an important milestone that improves the quality of life for the community. Additionally, 500 bags of rice were purchased and distributed to those in need. Our gratitude and recognition go to Harrison Kennedy, who has worked tirelessly to start this project. His commitment makes a difference and inspires us to master the change together. 😊

We connect theoretical knowledge and practical experience - as the premium partner of FH OÖ Campus Wels | Fakultät für Technik & Angewandte Naturwissenschaften. 🫱🏼🫲🏼 ➡️ We are a a leading international engineering and construction contractor and know how important it is to support young talents early and prepare them for the world of work. Through this collaboration, we offer students studying Plant Engineering and Process Engineering Production exciting insights into international projects, excursions and direct exchanges with our experienced employees. 👨🏼🎓 “This premium partnership gives us the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with the next generation. Together, we are setting new standards in education and creating a foundation for future innovations,” say our Managing Directors Andreas Beck & Roman Zauner. Last year, the students already had the opportunity to obtain valuable experience. Thank you to David Kronawettleitner for the great organization and cooperation. We look back on an exciting year full of changes, achievements, and special moments. 🎉 With the generational change and the new brand identity, ZAUNERGROUP has achieved further milestones in its success story. Numerous projects were successfully completed, and significant new contracts were secured – including the largest single order in our company’s history. 👏🏼   These successes are thanks to the great work of our team! Google - VLB Norway We’re proud to announce that ZAUNERGROUP has been awarded the role of Specialist Contractor (GC) for the fit-out works of Google’s new data centre campus in Norway, VLB.   The €600 million facility, situated in Skien, approximately 130 km south of Oslo, is scheduled to become operational in 2026 with additional planned expansion expected in the near future. This award further strengthens ZAUNERGROUP's standing as a market leader in the mission-critical sector and deepens our longstanding partnership with Google.   We are excited and proud to play a key role in bringing this state-of-the-art facility to life, contributing our expertise to a project that represents the future of technology and infrastructure.
