Scratch that (if you can)! Wall or scratch plasters are not solely used for aesthetics. They are applied to façades of buildings to offer protection against cracks and environmental effects. 🏠🌧️⚽ Scratch plasters consist of mineral powders, and their flow behavior strongly depends on the particle size, particle shape and the properties of the surrounding matrix. Specifically adapting particle properties leads to plasters with optimized spreadability and leveling behavior. Tack is an important feature of adhesives, coatings or cosmetics.
