We’re happy to once again contribute to the Cut Through Venture Quarterly report, a valuable pulse check on the funding landscape behind Australia’s startup and venture capital ecosystem. Huge thanks to Chris Gillings and his great team for consistently compiling these insights! This quarter, a few standout trends and insights caught our attention: - Fintech continues to dominate, securing four of the ten largest deals exceeding $20M. Congratulations to GROW Inc, InDebted, Shift, and Dash Technologies Inc. on these impressive rounds - With $209M deployed across 15 deals, fintech remained the most highly funded sector this quarter, showcasing its continued role as a leader in innovation. It also had the second-highest number of deals (15) after ClimateTech which had 23 deals - And while the funding environment may feel cooler with $695M in total funding, as Justin Greenstein highlighted during his recent Intersekt panel (https://lnkd.in/gaQ2YPf7), there is no ‘Funding Winter’.
