At AbilityMade, we know style goes well beyond looking and feeling great – it can mean the difference between clients wearing or rejecting their orthotics, and functional outcomes. That’s why we try and create wearable art, and give clients options they absolutely love! Matching her AFO and lunchbox for school was very important to Miss R, and what can we say – we love her style! 👜👢 What do you think? 🙂 #orthoticclinics #orthotics #orthoticsandprosthetics #oandp #3dprinting #customercare

We employ vapor smoothing in the post-processing of all our 3D Printed Ankle-Foot Orthotics (AFOs) to enhance durability, and recently collaborated with AMT PostPro to explore how vapor smoothing process affects the impact resistance of AFOs. The conclusion? It significantly enhances the durability and integrity of these devices, offering better protection against sudden impacts like trips or falls. Check out the full case study and findings at the link below. And don't hesitate to ask us any questions!
Collaboration with AbilityMade: Post-Processing 3D Printed Orthotic Devices The quality of ankle-foot orthotics (AFOs) is vital for enhancing mobility for individuals with lower limb disabilities. We're thrilled to share findings from our recent study with AbilityMade on the impact resistance of AFOs. Using HP 3D Printing MJF printing technology, we compared as-printed AFOs with those that have undergone our PostPro vapor smoothing process. The results? Vapor smoothing significantly enhances the durability and integrity of these devices, offering better protection against sudden impacts like trips or falls.
