By achieving this we will have sponsored over $10 million though our charity initiatives and encouraged 500 or more entrepreneurs to donate $500,000 to their worthy causes with a total of over $250 million going towards worthy causes. We help entrepreneurs create intergenerational wealth and prosperity for their communities and for themselves. We enable them to see, do & achieve things they never thought possible so that together we contribute to global abundance. Hence the name of our company Abundance Global.

  • Every business leader we’ve ever met has fallen into this trap at some stage. Those who recognise it and take action are able to unlock a step-change in results. Those who either don’t see it or choose to ignore it almost always miss out on results they could have enjoyed. The video may make you a little uncomfortable but that’s a good thing.

  • How much difference does two millimetres make? There are so many analogies that illustrate this. You know the ones about a journey of a thousand miles and how to eat an elephant. One step or one bite at a time. The 2mm shift takes this a step further. Think about an Airbus A300 en route from London to Sydney. It’s constantly making tiny navigational adjustments to stay on course. Or those of you who play golf - you’ll know just how well or badly things can go if that final winning putt is only a few millimetres off target. The same applies to your business. You may have huge, ambitious goals, but achieving them doesn't happen in one gigantic leap. You get there by staying focused and consistently executing small steps and changes that accumulate until you see your plan come to fruition. If you don’t lose heart and give up, that is.   • Which would be more effective in helping you to reach your business goals, a coach or a mentor? Let’s clarify the differences… Business Coach: A business coach works with individuals or teams to help them improve specific skills, achieve short-term goals, or overcome challenges. The relationship is structured, with regular sessions, goal-setting, and measurable outcomes. Coaching is often short to medium-term, focusing on particular areas like leadership, productivity, or business growth strategies. While a coach may have some knowledge of your industry, they are typically more focused on developing your abilities or behaviours rather than offering industry-specific advice. Business Mentor:  A business mentor shares their experience and knowledge from having been in the same or similar roles as you. The mentor provides advice, and guidance, and sometimes opens up their network. The relationship is often informal and long-term. A mentor will offer specific advice or insights and may offer direct solutions or suggestions based on their own experience. Summary: A coach helps you find your own solutions; a mentor may offer direct advice based on what worked for them.   • As an entrepreneur leading a growing team, you can’t expect them to run faster than you. You have to set the pace and that takes energy. Consistently. Every day. Most adults need at least 7 hours of sleep every night so don’t shortchange yourself. You may feel like a hero for a while but there are no medals and you’ll be risking burnout. Here are some actions that, if you do them consistently, will almost certainly give you a very welcome energy boost. No need to be obsessed with this, just get a simple routine going. Get some sunlight. Light suppresses melatonin, the sleep hormone. It tells your body it’s time to get up and get going. Breathe intentionally! Take 5 minutes at the start of your day to consciously slow and deepen your breathing to around 7 breaths per minute. In through the nose and out through the mouth. Water! If you’ve been asleep for 7 hours you’ll need water when you wake up. That prevents dehydration and kickstarts your metabolism. Get “grounded”. Literally. Walk barefoot on a natural surface and reconnect to nature. Move. Something simple like a short walk, a stretch, a few push-ups or maybe a short bike ride will help to get the blood pumping and the brain clear.   • What’s your pricing strategy for the next twelve months? You have three options: No change Lower your prices in an effort to close more deals Increase your prices to maintain or boost your profits If your business is anything like ours, many of your operating costs have gone up during the past twelve months. Some of them may have gone up a lot. And that has to factor into your pricing strategy. If you keep your prices the same to avoid scaring away your clients, you risk rapidly eroding your profitability. If you lower your prices in pursuit of more revenue you risk sliding into a downward spiral from which you may never recover. If you raise your prices too far and too fast you will lose clients and revenue. To keep your profits growing, at some stage, after you’ve done all you can to limit or reduce costs, you will have no choice - you must increase your prices. Perhaps the best way to do this is smaller, more frequent increases instead of one big jump once a year.   • A good general guide to measuring the performance of many businesses is The Rule of Thirds. The idea is to split your total revenue three ways. One-third to wages, one-third to overheads and one-third to profit. That’s a good start but it will only give you a very broad idea as to whether things are running well or starting to slip.
