We are excited to share our entry for Master Builders Queensland Housing & Construction Awards 2024 (QLD): the transformation at Beaudesert State High School! Our comprehensive refurbishment prioritised inclusivity, especially for Persons with Disabilities. Former amenities now boast natural ventilation, outdoor learning spaces, and covered walkways, enhancing accessibility for all students. Despite challenges like asbestos removal and structural surprises, our team persevered. We are proud to introduce the school's first PWD change room, equipped with showers, hoists, and change beds. Our team revamped the schools’ facilities, featuring separate Junior/Senior and staff amenities, including stainless steel toilet suites and outdoor seating areas. The Advanced Team has grown from three employees working from home in 1999, to purchasing our first office in 2000 with 15 employees. Today, our Team is made up of 160 experienced and dedicated individuals working out of offices covering the Eastern Seaboard of Australia – from Townsville to Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, to Ballina in Northern NSW, Morisset on the Central Coast, down to Sydney and Girraween, Canberra, and Melbourne. As well as our hands-on, practical knowledge in building and restoring homes, and commercial buildings, the Advanced Team always ensure our practices, operations and communication embody our values of transparency, honesty, and integrity, in all situations.

We are excited to share another successful completion of a QLD Department of Education project! The ABR QLD team successfully transformed the space as they reconfigured 8 classrooms to 6 and completed a full refurbishment of existing, all while maintaining the heritage integrity of the building. Every detail was carefully selected to create a functional and inspiring environment. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to completion and our awesome Advanced QLD Education team! We can’t wait to hear of the positive improvement this will have on the school community.
