Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Paediatric Life Support

Thank you to all who have donated so far to this cause. The experience was enlightening and confronting. We heard first hand from 2 incredible people and how they are on their way to recovery. Eating from the soup van and sleeping on cardboard on a cold night gave just a small taste of what like is like. However we were in a safe and supportive environment and whilst being uncomfortable it is nothing like the loneliness and despair that over 40000 Victorians feel each night. I am back at work now, showered and warm with a great job and wonderful family. I am a lucky man.
