The smallest components can make the biggest difference. A single sensor can determine the efficiency of an entire wastewater treatment process. Inclination sensors from ifm played an important part in this biological wastewater treatment plant. This sensor allowed the PLC to calculate the level of the lagoon by measuring the angle of the rising and falling pontoons. Why do we need to know the lagoon level in this plant design? The lagoon level tells the PLC logic if enough new water has come into the plant. It dictates if the SBR (Sequence batch reactor) downstream can or cannot initiate a settle and decant process of the treated effluent. What minor pieces of equipment play a major role for you? #engineering #ifm #wastewater #innovation

🚧 Construction Photos – Victorian Wine Country 🚧 The water used during harvest and production can be contaminated with organic matter, sugars from the grapes, and cleaning chemicals from the CIPs (Clean in place). This plant biologically treats the wastewater suitable for irrigation. We will irrigate the effluent on surrounding tree plantations and future vineyards. What you see in these photos: - Screening and balancing - Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR) with our ALS Decanter - Removable Fine bubble Diffusers + Roots Blowers - Sludge dewatering – AeroWAVE - Filtration The team are looking forward to finishing off this build, then rip into commissioning! #wastewater #engineering #winery #construction #irrigation

We’re excited to share a first look at Aerofloats’s new wastewater treatment plants for the new Sydney Fish Market project, which is proudly funded by the NSW Government. Aerofloat’s team designed, manufactured and delivered: 1. An industrial wastewater DAF plant - Treating water from the fish processing areas of the new Sydney Fish Market. 2. A commercial wastewater DAF Plant - Processing water from the food court outlets. It’s been great working with Multiplex and Planet Plumbing Group on this new iconic Sydney landmark. Stay tuned for more videos as the project progresses. https://lnkd.in/gwMDestQ #newsydneyfishmarket #wastewater #daf #engineering Michael Anderson

A huge thank you to Aerofloat Australia for their generous support at the recent WaterAid NSW Golf Day! Not only did they sponsor $100 for every shot onto the 18th hole green, but their incredible contribution totalled $1,000. We also loved the energy they brought by capturing the action on video. Your support helps drive critical water and sanitation projects — thank you for making a difference!
At last week's WaterAid Australia NSW Golf Day, Aerofloat sponsored the 18th hole, and donated $100 for every ball on the green. Congratulations to Steven King from Confluence Water | Sydney Water's North Regional Delivery Partner for the best shot of the day.
