🌱💧 Irrigation Revolution in Progress! At Aglantis, we've been on an incredible journey over the past year with La Trobe University, crafting an automated irrigation system that’s set to transform the way farmers manage their crops. Our goal is clear: to create an affordable and user-friendly platform designed specifically for sugarcane irrigation while ensuring it’s versatile enough for other crops like cotton and horticulture. With invaluable feedback from our farming community, we’re building a solution that not only meets their needs but also streamlines their operations. ✨ Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store! As we gear up for launch in the coming months, you can trust us to handle the irrigation side of things, so you can focus on what you do best—farming. Together, we’re simplifying smart farming for a brighter agricultural future. If you’re interested, visit our website and fill out an expression of interest to stay in the loop and receive updates. Stay tuned for more updates as we revolutionise the irrigation experience! #Aglantis #LeaveTheIrrigatingToUs #SmartFarming #AgTech

Last Monday marked a monumental moment as our QFF Trainee, Kaylaha Malaponte, represented us at the 2024 Women in Sugar Conference in Ingham! Kaylaha dove into the world of tissue-cultured sugarcane at CD Nursery, guided by the incredible Colleen Way. Here's why tissue-cultured sugarcane is a game-changer: - Rapid, mass production of assured disease-free seed cane - Certified disease-free and DNA tested seedlings - Swift multiplication and distribution of high-performing varieties - Mitigation of pest and disease impacts through rapid replacement with resistant varieties Huge thanks to Women in Sugar Herbert (WISH) and WISA (Women in Sugar Australia) for this empowering opportunity! Let's keep cultivating change and growth in our community together! #WomenInAgriculture #QFF #WISA

🌾Aglantis Joins Forces with QFF for Agricultural Extension Training! 🚜 We're excited to be part of the Queensland Farmers' Federation's Agricultural Extension Work Placement Programme (AEWPP), supported by the Queensland Government's Queensland Reef Water Quality Programme (QRWQP). This collaborative effort is aimed at nurturing the next generation of professionals in agricultural and natural resource management by providing practical training and mentorship opportunities to early career extension advisers. This week marked a significant milestone as we welcomed our inaugural trainee, Kaylaha Malaponte, to the Aglantis team. A local to Ayr and a proud 3rd generation cane farmer's daughter, Kaylaha is already making strides in learning about the installation of soil moisture sensors and using crop growth measurements to calibrate them. These skills are essential for optimising irrigation frequency for improved productivity and profitability. At Aglantis, we are committed to contributing positively to the agricultural industry, with a special focus on the sugarcane sector. We look forward to guiding Kaylaha on her journey to becoming a future leader in agricultural extension. Stay tuned for more updates on her progress and the development of our involvement in the AEWPP! #Aglantis #AEWPP #AgriculturalExtension #FutureLeaders #SugarcaneIndustry #QFF #ReefTrust #GBRF #Canegrowers #QCAR #KALAGRO
