Our ‘80s inspired truck will be hitting the beaches of Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast to serve up frozen favourites at old-school prices!🍦☀️😎 Aussies can beat the heat and make a big impact, with 100% of all sales going to ALDI Australia’s national charity partner, Camp Quality. There will be a variety of frozen treats at the same price you’ll find in our freezer aisle: starting from just 36c, with nothing over $1. While our truck can’t roll up to every town across the country, customers can get their own frozen treat fixes at their local ALDI stores every day. It’s with great pleasure that today ALDI announces we’re bringing our Good Different shopping experience to the residents of Park Avenue with the grand opening of our second Rockhampton store.     Since opening the first Rockhampton store in October 2019 we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible support from the local community. The new year kicks off for ALDI with the opening of our latest distribution centre (DC) in Eastern Creek, NSW, with deliveries to stores already hitting the road. The Eastern Creek DC marks an important milestone achieved in ALDI’s long-term future-plans. Over the next few years, ALDI will establish larger, automated warehouses on the east coast that will leverage the benefits of technology and increased storage capacity to deliver greater value for our Australian customers. The expansion and improvement of the distribution network will allow ALDI’s Good Different approach to continue to provide high-quality groceries at guaranteed low prices more efficiently.

ALDI is passionate about making a Good Difference when it comes to reducing food loss and waste. That’s why today we’re solidifying our commitment to reduce food waste nationwide by officially joining the Australian Food Pact (the Pact) to help support a more resilient food system in partnership with End Food Waste Australia. This partnership signifies ALDI is aligned to Australia’s national waste targets of halving food waste by 2030 and is committed towards making Australia’s food system more resilient, and circular. Developing innovative solutions that can be implemented at scale is only possible through collaboration with the broader food industry so we can create a more sustainable food future. As part of ALDI’s Food Rescue Program, we’re committed to maximising donations of ALDI’s food surplus from our stores. It’s a mammoth mission, and one where we work together with over 300 food rescue organisations to deliver on.    Geelong Foodshare is one of those partners who help distribute emergency food support.
