We are thrilled to share a new milestone in our business as Anko celebrated its arrival in Manila with a sneak preview ahead of the store opening on November 7. The festivities began with a vibrant brand launch at restaurant 1120 House where local media, invited community and influencers joined Ian Bailey Managing Director Kmart Group, Arjun Puri Anko Global CEO , Tim Kemp Anko Global GM of Operations, Rachel Turner Anko Philippines Country Manager, Siri Thanissorn Home and Living designer, and Nicholas Holmes Homeware Buyer for the Anko experience. The showcase featured home, beauty, pet and toys with guests taking time to explore the everyday affordable range. Special guests included Mariana Zobel de Ayala from Ayala Land, Luisa Rust Australian Embassy Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner and artist Jamie Bauza who has designed an exclusive Christmas Anko bag design. It was wonderful to meet the community and showcase a mix of our products that brighten everyday life from toys, home décor, pets, and beauty. Following the luncheon, Anko opened its doors to a family and friends preview of the store that saw excitement from guests as they shopped our range for the first time in Manila. We thank everyone who has played an important role to bring Anko to the Philippines and look forward to officially opening the doors at Glorietta 2 on Thursday Nov 7 at 10am. #MyAnko #AnkoGlobal

Simon has joined the Anko Global team this year as our Head of Commercial, with responsibility for supporting the Business Development team in the delivery of new supply agreements and leading commercial finance considerations for the Anko Global business. Simon brings with him a wealth of experience in the Wesfarmers ecosystem, starting in the corporate development team in 2010, and most recently holding the head of investment relations for Wesfarmers from 2020-2024.
