Too often, children and young people are overlooked in conversations about domestic, family and sexual violence, dismissed as too young to understand or too resilient to be affected. But this is not the reality. Children are not passive bystanders, and the impact of violence does not fade with time – it shapes their future. Bridging the gap between knowledge and action requires a conscious commitment to acknowledge children and young people and to centre them actively in practice. Join the ANROWS Conference 2025, where policymakers, service providers, practitioners, researchers, and advocates will come together to: 🔹 Listen to the voices of children and young people. 🔹 Learn from their lived experiences and the evidence that highlights their needs. 🔹 Act boldly to embed their perspectives into policies, practices, and systems. 📅 14 & 15 May (online) | 16 May (in person, Aerial Function Centre, Sydney) 🎟️ Secure your early bird tickets now! https://lnkd.in/gJjfbTUh

We cannot end violence against women and children if we don't engage men and boys in this work. Today we released a new evidence brief in conjunction with No to Violence which examines the role of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCPs) in addressing domestic, family, and sexual violence. Men’s behaviour change programs are one piece of the system needed to end men’s use of violence. The key insight? These programs are important but not enough on their own. 📖 Read the full evidence brief here: https://lnkd.in/gsB5SsMm ➡️ Swipe below to read key takeaways!
