It was great to catch up with Daniel Grey and the team from Hall Contracting Pty Ltd in Majuro ahead of their latest visit to Ebeye to prepare for the Ebeye coastal protection sea-wall construction. This is a major climate change adaptation project for the Government of the Marshall Islands and the people of Ebeye, with funding from The World Bank and the Green Climate Fund. We’re pleased Australia’s Hall Contracting will bring its experience in climate change adaptation work in low-lying Pacific Island nations to the task. As a strong financial contributor to both the World Bank and Green Climate Fund, we’re also pleased to see vital projects of this kind moving forward.
