The ILP Industry Survey is Here! 🌟 At the Institute for Learning and Performance (ILP), we are committed to empowering Learning and Development professionals with the tools and insights they need to thrive. We’re thrilled to announce that the 2024 ILP Industry Survey (previously the Rate Survey) is now available to our valued members. This comprehensive report provides: ✅ A clear understanding of current market rates for training, coaching, consulting, instructional design, and more. ✅ Insights into industry trends, key influencing factors on pricing, and demographic shifts. ✅ Practical benchmarks to help L&D professionals evaluate and position themselves effectively in the marketplace. 💡 What’s in the Report? There is a lot of information; I am going to share my top three key messages: 1. A majority of L&D professionals would like to equip themselves with additional skills. Designing and developing are the most desirable skills identified. 2. Overall L&D rates show little movement looking back or looking forward. Almost 60% of professionals report rates that have remained static over the past three years. A further 80% propose no further changes over the coming year. 3. Half of all L&D professionals report increased business revenue over the past 12 months. Driving this increased business is undoubtedly word-of-mouth referrals – clearly emerging as the most effective marketing tool in the armoury and notably eclipsing channels such as social media. 🙌 We Thank Our Contributors!
