Chatswood is set to welcome an architectural icon with the launch of a design competition for a new mixed-use residential project at 51-55 Archer Street, to be delivered by Aqualand Prestige. The competition invited leading architectural firms Woods Bagot, Team2 Architects, and PTW Architects, collaborating with landscape designers TYRRELLSTUDIO , Place Design Group, and ASPECT Studios, respectively, to reimagine this pivotal site. In keeping with our commitment to delivering projects of architectural merit, Aqualand Prestige’s inaugural project promises to deliver a design of exceptional quality that enhances Chatswood’s urban fabric, while emphasising sustainability and community engagement. It was truly heart-warming to see North Sydney’s streets come alive with culture, diversity, and a celebration of art and community at the North Sydney Festival early this month. The festival, hosted by North Sydney Council, marked the grand opening of the Sydney Metro Victoria Cross Station and the vibrant VIC X city block, just a stone’s throw away from AURA by Aqualand. So much creativity came to life at Aqualand's Kid's Zone, where little artists let their imaginations run wild with vibrant, hands-on art activities Adding to the magic, our fabulous ETYMON PROJECTS venues – Soluna, Sol Bread & Wine, Una Providore, Genzo, and Poetica – wowed the community with their world-class culinary and retail expertise. It was a pleasure hosting a tour of AURA by Aqualand for Committee for Sydney members during their ‘Crows Nest to North Sydney Walking Tour’. Following visits to other landmark new developments in the area, the group capped off their morning with a tour of AURA’s hotel-style amenities and ETYMON PROJECTS world-class hospitality venues to gain an insight into the significant contribution the new precinct is already making to the ongoing revitalisation of North Sydney. Aqualand Australia lodges State Significant Development Application for North Sydney’s first build-to-rent project Aqualand Australia, has lodged a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) with the NSW Government for North Sydney’s first build-to-rent (BTR) project, to be built on the 1,641sqm site of its existing commercial building at 146 Arthur Street in North Sydney. Jin Lin, Aqualand’s Group Managing Director, said, “With our landmark project AURA by Aqualand now complete with residents moving in, we’re really excited to progress our next North Sydney project to this milestone stage. “With North Sydney currently in the midst of a major rejuvenation, these key projects will significantly contribute to the vibrancy of the suburb’s future 18-hour economy,” he added.
