Australasian Specialty Coatings is an asset protection company, dealing specifically with industrial/commercial flooring, corrosion control for concrete and steel, waterproofing & liquid membranes, chemical bund rehabilitation, tank re-lining. With over 55 years of combined experience in the coatings and asset protection industry we are able to provide our clients with a “turnkey” approach to maintenance and protection of the most important and sensitive parts of their operations. Working on new builds or remediation and maintenance of aging structures, ASC will be there to assist every step of the way. Australasian Specialty Coatings is a fully certified to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 OH&S and ISO 14001 Environmental Assurance Standards.     Reason for Repair and Installation of New Non-Slip Polyurethane Cement Flooring System. • Floor was uneven, cracked and unsuitable for today's modern   manufacturing standards. • Expansion joints were cracked and open due to years of   wear and tear. • The area was prepared, expansion joints and damaged areas repaired. • The first stage of the flooring system was installed. • The final stage was installed the next day and ready for use within 24 hours. • Our client was happy with the results achieved.

    In September 2023, a client reached out to Australasian Specialty Coatings asking us to examine some damage to the floor throughout their facility. After a thorough inspection, it was established that the substrate had been adversely affected by leachate and repetitive front end loader movements. • 2-week deadline to have the project completed in order to not affect facility operations. • 1200m² of floor needed to be resurfaced. • Completed in 3 x 400m² sections to ensure loaders and trucks can continue processing waste. • Communication between operations and our staff to ensure complete safety throughout the project. • Main Compactor was not shut down at all. • No injuries, damages or near misses occurred. • Project was a great success with minimum disruption to our client’s business.
