Making mining safer, smarter, and more efficient is at the heart of everything ADR does. With the successful conclusion of our latest funding round resulting in the acquisition of $2.5 million in capital, we are one step closer to realising this vision. Launching in early 2025, ADR’s Explora Remote Data Acquisition System aims to remove the need for workers to enter potentially dangerous underground environments. This system will save lives, while reducing operational costs and emissions. We’re grateful for the incredible support that made this funding round possible. Led by Resource Capital Funds Mining Innovation with a significant investment, it also included contributions from UNSW, University of Adelaide, and Banksia Capital via the DX10 Defence Trailblazer. We’re excited to welcome Ivan Power, former head of the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation, to our investor group, and appreciate the continued backing from Artesian (Alternative Investments), following on from their 2022 investment. Our Explora XL Robots will be getting their own ‘digs’ underground, where they can recharge and keep a mine’s data flowing non-stop. Thanks to new investment and a strong working partnership with Resource Capital Funds (RCF), we’ll be able to scale up our business and see the launch of the new Explora Remote Data Acquisition System in 2025. The integrated system will house our robots underground, enable continuous data collection without interrupting operations, and importantly keep workers safe. We’re excited to announce that we have received significant backing from the pioneer in equity mining investment, Resource Capital Funds (RCF).   The funding, from their mining innovation focused investment strategy RCF Innovation II, will help us scale up and advance our new Explora Remote Data Acquisition System (ERDAS), which will save the average mine site two or more hours of daily production time, reducing costs by $13 million a year, significantly reducing carbon footprint and preventing workers from being exposed to fatal or critical risks. Designed to seamlessly integrate into existing mine infrastructure, the system will enhance our existing Explora XL Robot’s data acquisition abilities by allowing it to remain permanently underground, preventing the need for it to be retrieved for data uploads, recharging and maintenance. As part of RCF’s backing, we will receive strategic guidance from Lyle Bruce who led and successfully commercialised Groundprobe, a company highly renowned for its mining slope monitoring. Thanks to the funding and support, we plan to launch our Explora Remote Data Acquisition System to the market in the first quarter of 2025.
