Three outstanding Olympians have taken home top honours from the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) awards. Steph Talbot, SASI Female Athlete of the Year, was a key leader playing injured in the Opals bronze medal campaign in Paris and made a crucial block to secure bronze for Australia. SASI Male Athlete of the Year went to Oliver Bleddyn, winning track cycling gold on Olympic debut in the men's team pursuit and set a World Record in the opening round. Matthew Glaetzer's passion and persistence, that has taken him to four Olympic Games and two Olympic track cycling medals in Paris, was celebrated with the Amy Gillett-Safe award. Off the track Matt has been a role model in the community through his work with the Olympics Unleashed program. Congratulations to all the award winners! Basketball Australia | AusCycling
