💛 R U OK? Day 2024 💛 Last week on 12 September 2024 we celebrated R U OK? Day across all of our Dealerships, spreading the powerful reminder that a simple conversation can change a life. At Autopact, this message isn't confined to one day each year as we continue to foster a supportive environment and workplace culture, where everyone feels valued and heard. When asking "R U OK?" it's important to follow the simple yet impactful four-step conversation guide: ❔ Ask R U OK? - “How are you going?” 👂 Listen - “I’m here to listen if you want to talk more.” 🧠 Encourage action - “What do you think might help you?” 💬 Check in - “Have things improved for you since our last chat?” Let's keep raising awareness about meaningfully connecting with those around us and asking that important question and taking the time to listen, not just today, but every day. 💌💙 Autopact Foundation News! 💙💌 Recently our Rockhampton Dealerships supported the Fitzroy Community Hospice with our very own Senior Dealer Principal, Sheamus O'Reilly, running the Yeppoon Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for the new Hospice. The Autopact Foundation were proud to match the incredible amount of funds raised, bringing the total donation to just over $20,000! This much needed donation will go towards the supplies needed for the medical, emotional, and spiritual support that the Hospice provides, to support those in their last weeks and months of terminal illness, to allow them to live as comfortably as possible. Thanks to the team at Rockhampton and all those who donated to this extremely worthy cause to ensure that the Fitzroy Community Hospice can continue to thrive and provide the best support to those that need it most!
