Our values of Safety & Care, Honesty & Integrity, Customer Focus, Working Together, and Performance Excellence guide our actions and achievements. Throughout the year, we encourage staff to nominate fellow team members for living our values and purpose. In 2024 we received 282 nominations from across our Aveng, McConnell Dowell, Built Environs and Moolmans businesses. These were shortlisted to 12 finalists and following a vote from our Executive Leadership Team we are pleased to announce that our 2024 Aveng Values Awards winner is George Siaose Tupou, Supervisor on the Queen Salote International Wharf Project in Tonga. George was nominated by Senior Project Manager Frank Schubert who was impressed with his outstanding embodiment of Performance Excellence. Beyond George's delivery of top quality finished concrete in difficult environments and meeting tight milestones to complete Phase 1 pavement on time, George's natural leadership and cooperative spirit were the reasons behind Frank's nomination. George is known for his ability to uplift crew skills to enable work across multiple fronts as a respected supervisor who inspires his team. Additionally, George's efforts extend to the local community where he has collaborated with colleagues to train a local rugby team, creating opportunities for a better future. Being chosen from such a large pool of nominations highlights George's exceptional achievements and his commitment to living our values every day. Congratulations George on this well-deserved recognition! #CreativeConstruction #QueenSalote #WharfConstruction #Tonga

NEW LOGO FOR MOOLMANS HERALDS ERA OF POSITIVE CHANGE Changes are underway at Moolmans, and part of this journey is an exciting new look. While maintaining elements of our long and proud history within the mining sector, our bold new corporate identity and logo – which was launched today at the Investing in African Mining Indaba in Cape Town - reflects the positive changes that are eagerly anticipated for our business over the coming months. Our long-standing reputation for exceptional reliability and performance in the industry is the cornerstone of the strong relationships we enjoy with our clients, but this reputation alone is not enough to ensure that Moolmans remains a forerunner on the continent. In August 2024, Aveng announced that it would be exploring alternative ownership options for Moolmans, which would allow the company to pursue focused operating and growth strategies. We’re excited about this change because we know it will take us even closer to achieving our vision of being THE premier mining contractor in Africa, delivering resources for a better future. Presenting innovative solutions for our clients is not just about our investments in new cutting-edge technologies, as important as those are. It is equally dependent on harnessing the collective strengths of our people, who bring years of experience as well as new and advanced ways of thinking about mining in a world which is increasingly focused on sustainability Our bold new look supports this vision by visually demonstrating our progressive outlook for the business and our ongoing investment in our people, premier equipment, processes and systems to ensure we deliver prosperity wherever we operate. We are proud to be part of the continent’s mining industry and look forward to the next leg of our journey with great excitement.   Come visit our team at Investing in African Mining Indaba STAND A31.
