We’ve hit a major supply chain milestone at Bapcor, with the opening of our first Micro Fulfilment Centre in Dandenong South. The site will enable us to get our most popular wholesale stock items to our customers in South East Victoria quicker than ever before, making it easier to purchase parts from us. A big thanks to everyone in the team who has helped make this opening possible. 🙏

Last week our sites, stores and warehouses across Australia and New Zealand celebrated Inclusion at Work Week. The week-long celebration saw team members participate in activities and events that helped build their understanding of what it means to create an inclusive workplace. From teams making inclusion pledges, to morning teas and an online event, the week was a chance to celebrate everyone’s unique differences and strengths. Diversity Council Australia Ltd

This week we held a Cars and Coffee event at our Mount Waverley office, where we invited our motoring enthusiast team members to display their special cars. The weather really turned it on for us, and team members enjoyed getting out of the office to check out the range of amazing vehicles, while enjoying a coffee and donut.

It was wonderful to see around 100 of our key supply partners gather at our distribution centre at Melbourne Airport today. When it came to conversation, information and planning, plenty was supplied! We look forward to doing it again soon.

The crowds (and sun!) were out in force for Autobarn’s inaugural ShineFest car meet last weekend. With more than 1,500 cars and 2,000 people in attendance at the Melton store event, the vibes were high as the event celebrated Autobarn being the one-stop-shop for all things car care. Highlights included: ☀️ A range of well-known personalities and influencers in attendance, including paraplegic drifter Christina Vithoulkas, motor racing journalist and presenter Greg Rust, plus video creators Rex H and Mike Lake. ☀️ Attendees battling it out in racing simulators, trying to beat V8 Supercar driver’s lap times. ☀️ An energetic splash‘n’dash water bucket-carrying competition. ☀️ Leading car care brands and products on show, including Armour All, Autoglym, Chemical Guys, Meguiar’s, Mothers, Salty Captain, Turtle Wax, and Vyking Force. ☀️ A special 20% off storewide at the Melton store, plus extra specials, giveaways and prizes during the event. Thanks to everyone who came down, showed off their sweet rides and participated in one of our biggest ever car meets to date. Bring on ShineFest 2025! 

The Burson Auto Parts network is continuing to grow, with the opening of our Cambridge, Tasmania store. All the best to Store Manager Adam and the team as they begin serving customers on the eastern side of the Derwent River in Hobart.

We’re excited to be serving even more customers in the Canberra region, following the purchase of independent parts distributor Motor Spares. Motor Spares team members will join our Burson Auto Parts stores in Mitchell and Fyshwick, complementing the existing Burson store network in the ACT. Following a three-week campaign where customers were encouraged to round up their purchases, our Autobarn team are proud to share that they have raised almost $73,000 for men’s health charity Movember. A big thanks to the thousands of customers and our team members for their generous donations. 🙏 The funds raised will further support Movember’s important cause areas – mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – and health and wellbeing programs. And don’t forget… just as you would take your car to the mechanic if something wasn’t running as it should, speak to a health professional if something doesn’t feel right with your body. 

A big shout out to our Burson Auto Parts and Precision Automotive Equipment team members who embraced footy fever for our recent One Day Sale. 🏉 We loved seeing so many of our store, delivery driver and distribution centre team members donning their footy jerseys and creating a great vibe for our customers. Well done to you all 👏
