🙌🏽 An incredible week at #SIGGRAPH2024 in Denver, Colorado, exploring the latest ground-breaking advancements in computer graphics, where not one discussion was had without mentioning #AI. 🔑 Key sessions for me included NVIDIA's insights on AI in education and virtual humans, topped off by Jensen Huang and Mark Zuckerberg's keynote/fireside chat on the future of AI and how Meta and NVIDIA continue to break new ground here. Cyberdyne is coming 👀 🎭The stand out on the exhibition floor for me, was the immersive product demo from Jim Henson's Creature Shop showcasing their digital puppeteering setup using UNREAL Engine. Love how it brings back the aesthetic and feel of "real life" puppeteering, reminding me of how we achieved similar with the #LEGOMovie over 10 years ago💪 🗣️ Speaking of which, it was awesome to reconnect with the old LEGO Movie Team from Animal Logic ( now Netflix Animation). Simon Bull, Aidan Sarsfield, Manuel Macha and JP Collins, great seeing yall!  Coupled with productive meetings with the likes of Dell Technologies, NVIDIA, Epic Games, Autodesk x Wonder Dynamics, SideFX Software, The Rookies, Adobe and more 🤝 📝 Our discussions on our innovative approach at Behaviol and our vision with PANEURAMA innovation alliance were met with great enthusiasm, and I'm excited about the follow-up collaborations ahead 🚀 🌲We also managed to see some of the beauty that surrounds Denver! From Red Rock, to Bear Creek to Estes Park! It is always inspiring to sit down and hear from someone who has walked the path that you are trying to follow. We had the privilege of sitting down with Krishan Deegalla, a tech entrepreneur and good friend of the show. He has an incredible journey from starting a degree he didn't really want to do, to building an extremely successful tech business and now...he is branching out into Fantasy Gaming 😲 Krishan puts his success down to his ability to grind through hard things.
