We're excited to see the 🌏First Nations Clean Energy Strategy launched 👉🏼 delivery on a commitment by Minister Chris Bowen in his first 110 days in office, at our 2022 #BetterFuturesForum. 🔗https://lnkd.in/gR7mMJv6 Congratulations to Karrina Nolan, the First Nations Clean Energy Network, and many more for the tireless efforts. We're committed to seeing this strategy implemented to create #BetterFutures for us all 🙌🏽
The First Nations Clean Energy Strategy is a signal to our communities that government is backing us, and a signal to industry that when you prioritise First Nations partnerships, the government will also back you. It recognises that the scale and pace of the energy transition needs engagement from all of us, and that our people are critical to that. That’s Karrina Nolan talking, co-Chair of the First Nations Clean Energy Network. Karrina was at the launch of the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy today in Adelaide, with Federal Minister for Climate and Energy Chris Bowen MP, all energy ministers from around the country, and the fabulous members of the First Nations Clean Energy and Emissions Reduction Advisory Committee. Karrina says, 'We look forward to working with jurisdictions to ensure the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy is implemented in partnership with our people, building on all of the work already underway to guide investment and partnerships with First Nations in our country’s clean energy transition.'
