🛥️ Here are some of the awesome professionals who came aboard last week to socialise and network with the A1 Content Club. Belinda Botzolis - Property Valuer Christen Clarey - Bookkeeper Nick Bendel - Copywriter for Property Professionals Philip Khao - Outsource CFO Services Victor Idoko, CFA - Financial Planner All 5 nailed their intro, no retakes. All 5 are busy professionals, leading their own businesses - so finding time to sit down, plan out what they are going to say, then do take, after take to get a perfect video is not the best use of their time. That goes for every leader in professional services. Even I can't be bothered with all that faffing around, and video is how I make living! That said, we are in an era where your digital presence, your "professional brand" as I like to call it (because "personal brand" sounds wanky) is crucial to speeding up the Know, Like, Trust factor with your ideal clients...and by extension, speeding up your sales process. That goes double if you are a Millennial or younger (boomers built their business networks pre-social media, so their phone book and hiring ability is generally their most effective leaver to driving business outcomes). So what's the solution? Normalise just pressing record at your next: - Keynote Presentation - Roundtable - Client Discovery Meeting - Event - Trip to the airport with a colleague These are all "one take" environments that will give you heaps of usable content WITHOUT having to take time out of your day to film content. If you can train yourself to answer questions in soundbites, you can theoretically be able to produce a steady stream of videos on your LinkedIn page without ever having to talk to camera. Then just take the raw video and put it into an AI editing tool like Opus Clip and a 10 minute conversation becomes 5-10 usable videos that get spat out in minutes. Or, if you want more brand control, you could use a tool like Descript to set up brand templates to make editing much quicker. Do you think you're getting the most out of your "one take" moments? Weather 5/10 Company 11/10 I had a lot of fun with some of the A1 Content Club members and guests out on Sydney Harbour. Video is a pain in the backside for a lot of people - if you’re not doing it, you have fomo. If you are doing it, you feel cringe when you first start…causing many people to stop. Part of what I’m trying to do with the A1 Content Club is to make video easy and fun business leaders - so they can be consistent, get results and spend more time with the people they care about. So rather than time blocking “film content” in the diary…then dreading having to do it. It’s “boat event”…exciting!! Then while we’re on there, we just film being ourselves having chats…no performances, just pure authenticity.
