The team has received GenderTick accreditation for the first time from Gender At Work Community, formal acknowledgement of its organisational compliance and leadership in the gender equality space. To receive the GenderTick, New Zealand’s only gender equality accreditation programme, Gender At Work assessed and measured BOC NZ’s policies and guides across a number areas including equal pay, leadership representation, flexible work and leave, gender safe workplaces, and gender inclusive culture. #genderinclusive  #genderequality

BOC’s Manufacturing Applications Technology Centre at Rocklea in Queensland provided the perfect setting for the recent collaborative robot welding technology workshop, delivered with Weld Australia, the Australian Cobotics Centre, BOC, and South Pacific Welding Group. Alongside other cobotics industry leaders, BOC Applications Specialist for Southern Queensland Darryl Coombs, SPW and BOC staff, showcased the benefits of using this innovative technology to unlock productivity gains and increase safety within operations. Of particular interest to the 50 attendees was the EWM Phoenix 355 cobot power source. Navigating the changes to regulations covering welding fume mitigation and control continues to be a hot topic right across the Australian welding and fabrication industry. It’s why events like the recent Weld Australia-hosted day at Mount Druitt TAFE NSW are critically important. Alongside other experts in the field, BOC showcased the latest equipment, technology and techniques available to manage fume emissions giving welding and fabrication educators, business owners and employees the knowledge and confidence to stay safe and compliant.
