🎄 A little Christmas tale in the Borger world... 🎅 This is the story of Ronald, who lives in Deventer, in the east of the Netherlands. Ronald has a passion for scale models and is an avid collector. He owns no fewer than 600 pieces! Four years ago, Liebherr asked him to paint five LTM 1750s in 1:50 scale for... Borger Cranes. That’s how we got to know Ronald. Once the work was completed, the Dutch company WSI also produced this model, again in the same scale and still 95% metal. Thanks to the quality of his work, Ronald took on a series of orders for a passionate community, including models like the LTM1050-3.1, LTM1090-4.2, and LTM1650-8.1. During his last holiday in Australia, Ronald came to visit us, toured our sites, and got to see our cranes and trucks—this time in full size! He took plenty of photos, videos, and ideas to keep Borger’s model-making alive. A lot of inspiration to create and produce new models in Borger livery... His creations are simply breathtaking—check them out! ❗ #BorgerLivery #CraneLife #ModelPassion #CollectibleModels #BigMachinesSmallScale #ModelMaking #MiniatureWorld #CraneCollectors #DiecastCommunity #ModelEngineering #CustomModels #ScaleModelCollectors #LiebherrFans #ChristmasStory #ScaleModels #ModelCollector #Liebherr #DiecastModels #BorgerCranes #HeavyEquipment #CraneModels #ConstructionModels

💡 Introducing one of our recent projects with Hutchinson Builders As part of the Prince Charles Hospital extension in Brisbane, Borger Cranes was tasked with assembling 18 modular units, each weighing nearly 8 tonnes, within a compact 4,800 m² site. These modulars will serve as key spaces for administrative and medical staff. After extensive preparation and meticulous planning, the operation was executed at a steady pace to meet the tight schedule. Thanks to seamless coordination across all teams, every modular was installed with exceptional precision. This complex task was made possible by our LIEBHERR LTM1350-6.1 and our outstanding team of professionals. Here's a closer look at how it all came together! 👉 Stay tuned for more updates from the field #ConstructionExcellence #CranesInAction #PrecisionEngineering #Teamwork #HutchinsonBuilders #BorgerCranes #PrinceCharlesHospital #InfrastructureDevelopment #ProjectSuccess #LiebherrLTM1350 #HeavyLifting #Brisbane

If you’ve spotted Borger Cranes between Coomera and Nerang recently, it’s no coincidence. Borger Cranes have just completed a pivotal lift on the Coomera Connector Bridge 2 which crosses Oaky Creek, Coomera, as part of the new Coomera Link Road. Using our LTM1650 (Unit 700), we managed a total lift weight of 37.8T at a 41.9m radius with a 175T counterweight and a 42m luffing fly jib. Across the week, we lifted 120 x 24-metre-long deck units, each weighing 34.75T, showcasing our specialised expertise in complex lifting. #BorgerCranes #CoomeraConnector #ExpertLifting #AccionaGeorgiouJointVenture Department of Transport and Main Roads

When Borger Cranes bid to install the bridge segments for the new Falcon Street shared user bridge over the Warringah Freeway, we knew the challenge that lay ahead and what happened was exactly what we expected. We set up the first of six girders (G4), weighing a total of 34 tonnes, then another (G5) weighing exactly 87.2 tonnes. To achieve this, we temporarily installed a 650-tonne crane with a T3Y boom and 155 tonnes of counterweight. The fact that the road had a 11% fall added complexity to the operation, which was carried out in the best possible conditions. At the beginning of the month, an unusual situation brought us a complicated equation. So we looked into it and came up with a solution 💡 The short video below shows our customer's specific request and the response Borger Cranes was able to provide. Crane Maintain wanted to install a gantry crane weighing 15 tonnes. The difficulty was that there was very little room to put it up. Very, very little room. >>> 9.3 m to the top of the roof and 8.7m to the top of the crane. That's just 600 mm to place the crane with the maximum care. So we found a way: adapting a Runner Hook to our Franna Crane, the only equipment that allows us to operate in such a tight environment and carry out extremely precise work. Thank you Crane Maintain for trusting us / Mirko Bilic 👉 Stay tuned for more updates from the field

The legend began with an iconic image: a lone figure standing proudly on a steel girder, suspended high above the ground, with the Harbour Bridge rising majestically in the background. This is the untold story of Borger Cranes - an epic journey that started on the rugged shores of Kempsey (NSW) and has grown into Australia’s largest family-owned crane company. As we celebrate Indigenous Business Month, it’s the perfect time to honor our roots, reflect on our values, and reaffirm our commitment to excellence. Borger Cranes reposted this
As Indigenous Business Month continues, so is our mission to highlight the Indigenous business partners we work with on delivering complex infrastructure for communities across Australia. Borger Cranes is one of those partners. 🏗️ A trusted contractor on a number of our eastern states projects, Borger Cranes has the capability of an extensive crane fleet that can cater for lifting applications ranging from 3 tonnes to 750 tonnes. With National Code Compliance, our Project Managers regularly recommend the high-quality outcomes provided on the job by Borger. "I'm constantly citing my experience with Borger as an example to others in the hope it changes perceptions about what First Nations businesses may be capable of," said Queensland Building project Manager Jeff Lacoste.
