Together with our JV partner Equans Solar & Storage we’re thrilled to be a finalist in the 2025 Asuria Australia Employer Awards for our work on Neoen Australia’s Culcairn Solar Farm. Asuria’s Diversity and Inclusion Impact Award recognises the outstanding contributions of an employer to build a diverse, sustainable workforce. The nomination references our work to achieve reconciliation between First Nations people and the broader population through employment and retention initiatives in partnership with Asuria. Led by Community Engagement and Social Procurement Manager Daisy Franz the project has built a diverse and inclusive team. We are acknowledged for our commitment to recruit First Nations employees and provide an education on the work available on the project through site visits, multiple community sessions, wide ranging stakeholder engagement and establishing a collaborative and collegiate relationship with labour hire, suppliers and providers. At Bouygues Construction Australia we are not only building infrastructure that is shaping the country’s renewable energy transition, we are making a positive contribution to the communities we work in. The legacy we leave behind when a project is finished is a fundamental driving force for all of the team at Bouygues Construction Australia – we are very proud of what has been accomplished so far on Culcairn Solar Farm, and will keep raising the bar for what can be achieved on our sites and the community beyond. [New contract 📢] Bouygues Construction Australia, our Australian subsidiary, alongside its Terra Verde joint venture partners Webuild and GS E&C Australia, has been selected to deliver the Tunnels North contract of Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East in Victoria, Australia. 👉 The works involve the design and construction of twin 10km tunnels using tunnel boring machines, from Box Hill to Glen Waverley, including two station boxes, two tunnel access shafts, one intervention and ventilation shaft and 39 cross passages. 🚇As the biggest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, SRL will help shape Melbourne and Victoria for future generations, ensuring Melbourne remains one of the world’s most liveable cities. SRL will slash travel times, ease congestion and help deliver thousands more homes close to world-class public transport. The first stage of the project, SRL East, is now under construction, with tunnelling to start in 2026 and trains running in 2035. #BuildingForLife #Mobility #SustainableConstruction Bouygues Construction © Suburban Rail Loop Authority

📢 New projects with Sydney Water 📢 Together with our partner Rob Carr Pty Ltd, we look forward to working with Sydney Water to deliver these two transformative projects in Sydney's northwest that will enhance capacity and future proof wastewater and drinking water systems to meet the needs of customers in years ahead. The North West Wastewater Connection and the Thornleigh Pipeline Duplication projects address the growing demand on the city’s water infrastructure as the Greater Sydney population reaches a predicted 8 million people in the next 40 years. This significant urban growth requires upgrades to water, wastewater, storm water and recycled water infrastructure to support the increased pressure on these systems. The Ironbark Joint Venture has extensive local and global experience in the design, development and construction of pipelines, bored tunnels and pump station upgrades. We are proud to play our part in delivering this vital infrastructure that will support Sydney’s growing population and ensure the overall liveability of our city. #BuildingForLife #infrastructure #waterinfrastructure #waterutility #civilworks
Today we’ve announced the awarding of two major infrastructure contracts to Ironbark Joint Venture, with the projects to support thousands of new homes and jobs in the North West Growth Area. The contracts, with a combined value of $200 million, include the delivery of the North West Wastewater Connection and the Thornleigh Pipeline Duplication – key Sydney Water projects designed to enhance capacity in the region and ensure wastewater and drinking water systems meet the needs of customers now and in the future. Ironbark JV, comprising Bouygues Construction Australia and Rob Carr Pty Ltd, will manage the delivery of a new rising main and sewage pumping station upgrade as part of the North West Wastewater Connection, which will bolster the network leading into the Rouse Hill Water Resource Recovery Facility with a new 800-metre-long underground pipeline. Ironbark will also manage the duplication of a 1.4km drinking water pipeline between Thornleigh Reservoir and the Thornleigh-Wahroonga Water Pumping Station to increase its resilience by allowing water to be transferred between the two locations to cater for the growing population.
