We were delighted to be part of the Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT Sports Review Lunch. It was a fun afternoon filled with great entertainment as we came together to celebrate the sporting year that was. More importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to help raise funds necessary for Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT to finance grass-roots programs and pathways that are essential for wheelchair athletes as they commence their sporting journey. We look forward to the year to come!

Zuber is our Procurement and Planning Manager. Zuber's journey with BrightSky began 13 years ago when he joined us as a Warehouse Inventory Operator. There were just 5 others in our dedicated warehouse team then. As the business grew, so did Zuber's and the team's opportunities. Supported by BrightSky's strong commitment to staff training and development, Zuber earned his certificate III in warehousing & storage, and then a certificate IV in warehousing operations. Passionate and ambitious, he advanced to play the role of Warehouse Shift Supervisor in 2014, and Supply and Demand Officer in 2021, before being promoted to his current position in December 2022. Today, Zuber and his team manage our supplier relationships, inventory, and cost efficiencies. Their work plays a critical role in ensuring that our customers can receive reliable, timely supplies of carefully curated specialist healthcare products at optimal prices. When asked what he considers his best achievements, Zuber shared that this included successfully refitting the warehouse whilst still being fully operational, and effectively managing warehouse operations during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure business continuity under extremely challenging circumstances. He also values helping his team upskill and developing more supervisors and warehouse managers. Zuber takes great pride in being part of an organisation that adds real value to the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. And we couldn’t be prouder to support your journey of growth, leadership, and service over these years, Zuber!

Exciting times at the Wheelchair Sports Illawarra Festival! BrightSky & Forward were proud to have been the presenting partner for this great festival. It was incredibly inspiring to see the dedication and passion of athletes of all ages, both female and male, from all across the country participating and showcasing the true meaning of sport.
