On the eve of American Independence Day, AmCham Australia members, guests and Queensland GM Stuart Mansbridge welcomed American Airlines new non-stop service between Brisbane and Dallas-Fort Worth, commencing in October 2024. Hosted at Lina Rooftop, the event brought together key partners driving Queensland's visitor economy and export growth, with AmCham joined by Brisbane Airport Corporation, Brisbane Economic Development Agency, Trade and Investment Queensland and Tourism and Events Queensland. The new service will connect Queensland to more than 200 destinations in North and South America, boost export opportunities and fuel Brisbane's vibrant $10.6 billion visitor economy.
