  • How do you promote the importance of team wellbeing to leaders while encouraging meaningful self-care? Craft a full day learning experience for leaders that promotes the sharing of stories and includes real-world scenarios to practice difficult conversations. Ambulance Victoria (AV) needed a framework that leaders could use when considering and measuring their personal wellbeing, while promoting conversations about wellbeing with their teams. Bunch partnered with AV’s Organisational Development team to design an interactive wellbeing learning program for leaders that focussed on three pillars - Self, Others, Together. Developing the Leading Wellbeing Learning Experience required effort to create wellbeing-related content specific to the context of AV’s industry and organisation, while integrating best practice principles. Over 10 senior stakeholders across the organisation were consulted, resulting in the development of a practical full day learning program, which will be deployed to over 700 leaders across AV’s corporate and operational functions. • 📈 The Value of WIPs in Project Success 📈 When kicking off our client projects one of the first things we do is schedule regular weekly WIP (Work in Progress) meetings where we update, present and discuss the project via a project dashboard. Regular WIP meetings are more than just a status check - they’re a powerful tool for driving projects forward, building transparency, and ensuring alignment across teams. When teams consistently share WIP updates, everyone stays informed, obstacles get addressed early, and projects are more likely to meet deadlines. WIPs also create a sense of accountability and foster collaboration, helping teams feel connected to the bigger picture. How often do you share WIP updates on your projects? #projectmanagement #transparency #teamwork #workflow

  • 🖊️ The Power of Whiteboard Sessions 🖊️ There’s something incredibly energising about gathering around a whiteboard for a brainstorming session. At Bunch, we’ve discovered that these collaborative moments can lead to breakthroughs and innovative solutions. Here’s why we love a good whiteboard session: 1️⃣ Visual Thinking: The whiteboard allows us to visualise ideas and concepts in real time. Sketching diagrams, flowcharts, or just jotting down thoughts can help clarify our thinking and foster creativity. 2️⃣ Encouraging Participation: Everyone has a voice in a whiteboard session. The informal nature encourages all team members to contribute their ideas, leading to diverse perspectives and richer discussions. 3️⃣ Tangible Collaboration: There’s a unique energy in working together on a physical surface. It fosters a sense of teamwork and encourages spontaneous brainstorming that can lead to unexpected insights. 4️⃣ Instant Feedback: As ideas are written down, the group can provide immediate feedback, helping to refine concepts and identify potential challenges right away. 5️⃣ Record of Ideas: Don't forget to take a picture! The whiteboard serves as a living document of our thought process. We can revisit and build upon these ideas in future discussions, keeping the momentum going. Next time you’re tackling a challenge, grab a whiteboard and let the ideas flow! You might be surprised at what you can achieve together. What’s your experience with whiteboard sessions? #Collaboration #Brainstorming #Teamwork

  • How do you deliver the right message to employees through the right channel at the right time? By understanding enterprise-wide internal communication attitudes, preferences, and behaviours to inform a communication strategy. With the upcoming launch and rollout of a new internal comms platform, Viva Engage, Bunch partnered with Australia Post to conduct an enterprise-wide internal communications audit to benchmark and baseline current practices. We were tasked with conducting discovery workshops with all areas of the business - LPOs, posties, delivery drivers, mail room, and corporate team members - to gain insight into how current communication was working and what barriers existed. As a result of partnering with Bunch to conduct this internal communications audit, the enterprise communications team at Australia Post was able to consolidate and refine existing channels (including ‘switching off’ at least two), priming them for a successful launch and roll out of the new internal comms platform. • 🗣️ Conversations Over Conversions 🗣️ In today’s world, it’s easy to get caught up in metrics and conversions. But at Bunch, we believe that fostering meaningful conversations is far more valuable than just chasing numbers. Here’s why prioritising conversations matters: 🤝 Building Relationships: Authentic conversations lay the groundwork for trust. When we engage openly with clients and colleagues, we cultivate relationships that go beyond transactions and create lasting partnerships. 👂 Understanding Needs: Conversations provide insights that data alone cannot. By listening actively, we can better understand the unique challenges and goals of those we work with, allowing us to tailor our solutions effectively. 🙌 Encouraging Collaboration: Dialogue opens the door for collaboration. When we converse, we invite diverse perspectives and ideas, sparking creativity and innovation that drive better results. ✍ Creating Value: Ultimately, it’s about delivering value. Engaging in meaningful discussions helps us identify how we can genuinely support others, leading to more significant outcomes and client satisfaction. Let’s shift our focus from simply converting leads to nurturing conversations that matter. After all, it’s the connections we make that drive real growth. #Relationships #Conversations #ClientEngagement

  • Hot Desking vs. Fixed Desks: Which Do You Prefer? As workplaces evolve, many organisations are rethinking their office setups. Hot desking, where employees have the flexibility to choose any available desk, is becoming increasingly popular, while fixed desks still have their loyal fans. Each approach has its own benefits: 💻 Hot Desking offers flexibility and encourages movement throughout the workspace. It allows employees to sit with different colleagues each day, promoting cross-team collaboration and a fresh perspective. It’s also a cost-effective solution for companies with hybrid work arrangements, as fewer desks are needed overall. 🖥 Fixed Desks, on the other hand, provide a consistent spot where employees can personalise their space and settle into a daily routine. For some, this stability can enhance focus and productivity. Fixed desks can also offer a sense of ownership and comfort, helping team members feel more “at home” in the office. At Bunch, we’ve seen the value in both approaches. It’s all about finding what works best for your team and aligning with the company culture. Which do you prefer: hot desking or a fixed desk? Share your thoughts below! #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeExperience #HotDesking

  • 🚀 Webinar Recap: The Power of Workplace Culture 🚀   We recently hosted an insightful webinar on the importance of workplace culture and its undeniable impact on both employee well-being and organisational success. 🌟 Glyn Wallens had a fascinating conversation with Jeremy Nichols, an expert in culture analysis, who provided us with a thoughtful definition of culture as 'a pattern of behaviours, created over time, by those with power and influence, and the messages they send about the behaviours that are expected, tolerated and not tolerated in the way work gets done'. He emphasised that aligning culture with organisational goals is essential for long-term success. 📈   Here are some insights and practical steps discussed during the webinar: ✔ Align Culture with Goals: Use metrics like reputation, risk, relationships, and returns [4 R's] to establish what challenges and opportunities exist and why the work on culture is important to create a better organisation ✔ Senior Leader Commitment: Leaders must be on board and committed to cultural alignment and transformation. ✔ Culture Diagnostics: Regularly assess your current culture to identify gaps and opportunities. ✔ Culture Development Team: Establish a dedicated team who have influential members to focus on shaping and nurturing your workplace culture.   The process of cultural transformation was outlined in three phases: 1️⃣ Shaping: Understand the current culture and define the desired culture. 2️⃣ Shifting: Implement changes steadily and have a clear plan. 3️⃣ Strengthening: Reinforce positive behaviours through clarity, consistency, and compelling communication.   We are thrilled with the engagement and insights from this session, and look forward to seeing how you, our amazing community, will apply these strategies in your own organisations.   #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeExperience #CultureTransformation
