Bundara West: 2024 Year in Review This year has been filled with incredible milestones and meaningful progress for Bundara West, as we continued our mission to create opportunities and drive change in the First Nations space. A key highlight was the graduation of our students from the 7-week DJinda Work-Ready Mechanical Program, equipping them with the skills and confidence to step into the workforce. These graduates played a pivotal role in delivering our first major project at a leading client’s iron ore operational facility. This project, executed entirely by First Nations Australians, involved the successful replacement of several roller frames and showcased the expertise and dedication of our Bundara West mechanical team. We proudly celebrated Reconciliation Week, reflecting on the shared history and achievements of First Nations peoples while reinforcing our commitment to reconciliation and inclusion. Additionally, we had the privilege of presenting our Bundara West framework to a Contract Management Specialist Group, where we highlighted the sustainable pathways we are creating for First Nations employment and leadership within the industry. Troy Cook, founder of Bundara West, continues to lead with purpose and pride, driven by his deep connection to his community and his commitment to making a difference. As a proud Indigenous-owned and operated mining services business, Bundara West operates on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan, on Whadjuk Nyoongar Boodjar in Perth. This foundation reflects Troy’s “why”: a vision of creating lasting opportunities for Indigenous men and women in the mining industry through safe, high-quality training and employment. As we prepare to welcome 2025, we are excited to introduce Rebecca Easterbrook, a founding partner of Breight Education RTO. 45006 , who will work alongside Troy to strengthen the Bundara West community. With extensive experience in training and preparing individuals for mine site roles, Rebecca’s passion lies in helping people reintegrate into society through stable employment and mentorship, fostering long-term success. Through Breight Education RTO. 45006, we deliver high-risk work training in scaffolding, dogging, rigging, working at heights, confined spaces, mechanical training, and verification of competencies. Supported by Indigenous mentors, Bundara West is creating brighter futures for First Nations communities. 2024 has been a year of progress, purpose, and pride, and we look forward to continuing to make a lasting impact in the years ahead. Together, with our community and partners, the future is breight with Bundara West. Troy Cook Rebecca Easterbrook Stephen Easterbrook Michael Douglas COO Breight Group

Bundara West celebrates its first project where the scope of work was mobilised, supervised, and executed end-to-end by First Nations Australians at an industry-leading client's iron ore operational facility. The team was tasked with changing out several roller frames that could not be replaced during the upcoming major shutdown due to SIMOPS happening on the Cos pile during the shutdown window. The team successfully changed out the necessary rollers, leaving the client in a good position heading into their major shutdown. Prior to this assignment, the First Nations Bundara West team went through a 10-week onboarding and mechanical simulated awareness training at Breight Education RTO. 45006. The team put all their training to good use and demonstrated excellent skills, completing the task incident and injury-free with smiles all around.
