Business Action Networking

Business Action Networking is a new business networking group, launching initially in Penrith and Sydney CBD targeted at SME. Our purpose is to bring together local business owners to foster local business connections to help our businesses grow. Our founder Jane Tweedy has attended many networking events, and our intention is to bring to you the best features, while removing those that don't appeal. We will evolve with feedback from our participants. For instance, we will not be tracking referrals, or having a single business per category, but the events will have some structure to ensure good value is derived. Meet - come to events with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere, whether you're a networking novice or networking ninja. We will always have someone to greet you on arrival and make you feel welcome. Some networking will be structured to maximise chances to meet new people. Each event will have business owners speaking and sharing their knowledge and/or inspiration to the group. All speakers will be vetted for quality, and time spent educating or inspiring, not spruiking. Connect - we'll make sure every event you attend you get the chance to introduce yourself to at least ten business owners with a 30 - 60 second introduction, which we will help you to craft ahead of time if required. I.e. for a smaller group you may present to the entire group, for a bigger group you may present to a table or smaller group. For those who pre-book by a cut-off date, you'll receive a list of the names and business names of attendees so you can target some desired connections. Our friendly team will help you connect. Grow - by attending our events, making great new connections, and taking actions inspired by our speakers, or those you meet, you will find plenty of options to grow your business. The key in maximising the value in our events is not in simply attending the meetings, but also connecting between meetings online. There will be plenty of opportunities. to connect
