The Eurobodalla’s Youth Against Domestic Violence Colour Run last Saturday was nothing short of amazing! With over 450 people participating, it was a true celebration of community and a powerful stand against domestic violence. 💜🌈🏃♂️🏃♀️ The Campbell Page Youth Services ‘pink’ team had a fantastic time spreading smiles, raising awareness, and joining in the colourful fun. On such a hot day, the fire truck hose-down was a refreshing highlight that kept everyone going! 🚒💦 A huge thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. Together, we’re creating positive change in our community! 💜 #ColourRun #YouthAgainstDomesticViolence #CommunityStrength

Meet Jake Mandas, whose journey with Campbell Page began in mid-2018 amidst significant challenges, including morbid obesity, vision issues, panic disorders, depression, and personal struggles with addiction. Despite these hurdles, Jake, with the support of Campbell Page’s Disability Employment Services Team Leader, Deb Edwards, embarked on a transformative journey. Deb’s continuous encouragement led Jake to complete a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drug Support Work and, later, his Certificate IV in Youth Work. His commitment to personal growth and education resulted in significant weight loss and positive lifestyle changes. Today, Jake proudly serves as an Alcohol and Other Drug Support Worker at a rehabilitation clinic in Keilor North, a role that mirrors his own remarkable journey. Jake’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact of dedicated support and the strength of the human spirit. Congratulations, Jake, on your incredible achievements! If you too have a disability and require assistance in finding or maintaining employment, we're here to help! For more information, visit: https://lnkd.in/eZAvFBgC

We are so grateful to Blackshaw Real Estate for their generous donation to Campbell Page Youth Services, which has helped provide a father and son transitioning out of homelessness with a brand-new fridge and washing machine for their home. With the added contribution of Harvey Norman (Batemans Bay) Store Manager, Sam Biondo, who offered a generous discount and free delivery, this support is even more impactful. This incredible act of kindness equips this family with essential appliances, helping to create a comfortable home environment and supporting their journey toward stability and a fresh start.
