An incredible milestone is being celebrated this month, with Ashraf Assaad, Senior Service Engineer, reaching 25 years! 🎉 Starting in February 2000, when Anastacia and Wheatus were dominating the charts in Australia, Ash began his career at Canon as a Customer Service Engineer servicing black and white photocopiers. As technology has evolved from analogue to digital, Ash has been there every step of the way, eventually moving to colour digital printers and nowadays servicing our imagePRESS multi-function devices to wide-format printers, and many in-between! When asked about his highlight working at Canon, he had this to share, “Over the past 25 years working at Canon, no two days have been the same! There’s always something new to learn and customer needs to meet. Our 2025 Canon Partner Conference is in full swing! Yesterday, our business partners gathered to hear about our 2025 plans from our senior leaders and to explore our latest technologies and solutions. It was our privilege to also be joined by our guest speaker, Curtis McGrath OAM PLY, a decorated paracanoeist who has won multiple gold medals at the Paralympics. Curtis, who lost both his legs while serving as a soldier in Afghanistan, shared his inspiring journey and taught us valuable lessons about goal setting and self-determination. His story of resilience and triumph over adversity left a lasting impact. Last week, we kicked off our FOCUS roadshow. FOCUS is an opportunity for our employees across our locations to hear directly from our Managing Director, Kotaro Fukushima, and our Senior Leadership Team about our strategy for 2025 and celebrating our successes from 2024. 🌱 Partnering with Rainforest Rescue since 2017, we have planted over 6000 trees to restore our Daintree rainforest in Northern Queensland.    These efforts are transforming old sugarcane fields into thriving rainforests, boosting biodiversity.
