We're thrilled to share our collaboration with AECOM on the Raising London Circuit Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Credit Summary Form (CSF) project. This ambitious project has been one of our most rewarding copy editing and proofreading projects of the past few years because, as the result of our involvement, the project received a 'Leading' Infrastructure Sustainability Council rating (the highest category)! ⭐ A huge thank you to Catch the Sun editor and proofreader extraordinaire Claire who had the important task of editing and proofreading an extensive submission of 36 individual Credit Summary Forms – some spanning up to 19 pages each – in preparation for submission to the ISC. The forms included highly technical and scientific information covering areas like environmental impact, waste management, energy, climate, heritage and innovation. With a keen eye for detail, Claire ensured each form was not only grammatically accurate but also clear, succinct, direct, consistently formatted, neatly styled and written using plain English. The CSFs had originally been written by multiple authors, so Claire made sure they all had a common tone of voice and read as if coming from a single, consistent source. At Catch the Sun, we're all about simplicity and clarity, so receiving feedback from the CSF verifiers that the submission was "clear and consistent" and learning that the project team was specifically complimented on the presentation of their evidence was the best news ever! We went to Miami Bay in the 1980s last night for our virtual Catch the Sun Christmas Party. 🌴🦩🌺🪩🕶️🛩️📺💽🛳️⏳ Over the course of the evening we landed a plane, snooped through pink Miami modernist villas, went to a dive bar, played an '80s arcade game, drove a stolen car, crept through a cruise ship without being detected by CCTV and even defused a bomb! All while sipping '80s cocktails like Blue Lagoon, Sex on the Beach and Lime Mojitos. 🍸🍹🍷 Well, you'll be pleased to know that the Miami Babes (almost literally) had a blast... and saved the day too! We love all Wolf Escape Games here at Catch the Sun, as their virtual escape games are the perfect way for us to celebrate a successful year with our freelancers around the globe. Wolf really are the best in the business – just like our freelancers! We can't recommend their games highly enough!
