Every year we come together to honour our longstanding Catholic Early EdCare team members as part of the Centacare Brisbane Awards. From our educators and coordinators working in long day care, kindergarten and outside school hours care, to those in supporting roles and back office functions, we are proud of our people and the vital work they do each day to help children blossom and grow. Last Friday night we celebrated 32 members of our team who have reached milestones of 10, 20 and 25 years of service! This included nine people reaching milestones of 20 and 25 years! Thank you all for your incredible commitment to our team and the families we serve. 

Today is Early Childhood Educators Day - a time to celebrate the vital role our educators play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning, and development during their formative years. The Catholic Early EdCare team extends our biggest appreciation to all our early childhood educators across Long Day Care and Kindergarten services in South East Queensland. Your dedication helps children connect, grow, and discover every day. Thank you! 👏❤️

We’re excited to announce the official opening of All Saints’ Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) at Boonah in the Scenic Rim. Co-located with All Saints’ Catholic Primary School and Boonah Catholic parish, the new service will support working parents in the Boonah community by providing high-quality before- and after-school care and vacation care for their children. Catholic Early EdCare Director Chris Lugg said he was pleased to partner with a joyful community to provide a safe and rewarding environment for children from All Saints’ Catholic Primary School as well as Boonah State School.
