🔥FINAL HAZARD REDUCTION BURN OF THE YEAR – A Milestone Achievement! 🎉 "This marks a special accomplishment for several reasons: after five years, we have successfully conducted a hazard reduction burn at the Cowley Beach Training Area! This area is known for its unpredictable weather and very narrow windows of opportunity, making such an achievement all the more significant. After more than 8 attempts over the past two programs, we finally managed to secure the right conditions! Additionally, this burn concludes our hazard reduction burn season. It has been a long and demanding season, with our crew putting in countless hours of hard work and dedication. Their teamwork and professionalism have been instrumental in ensuring the season's success and smooth operations. Finally, it would be amiss not to give special recognition to our grounds crews, who maintained operations while our fire team focused on the intensive burns program. Their tireless efforts ensured that other contracts were managed smoothly and efficiently, without delays or disruptions, even as the bulk of our team was committed to fire-related tasks. 2024 has been a busy year full of changes, but once again, Centrogen Townsville has wrapped up the year as a roaring success. This is all thanks to our team's dedication, adaptability, and incredible teamwork to get things done. - Kendall Munro, Contract Supervisor 📸 Standing left to right: Max Kelly, Kelly Collett, Andrew Barnes, Seamus Brooke Kneeling left to right: Kendall Munro, David Christen, Blair Bonato
