We’re thrilled to announce the opening of two new stores in just one week—CDC Belconnen, our very first store in the ACT, and CDC Burnie in Tasmania! These exciting milestones are a testament to the rapid growth of the CDC brand, and we’re proud to be delivering accessible, personalised healthcare services to even more communities across Australia.   The Belconnen store is the first of many we plan to open in the ACT, and we can’t wait to expand further in the region. We celebrated with the local community, sharing free goodies, and received fantastic support from our dedicated team and partners.   In Burnie, we were honoured to have Councillor giovanna simpson officially cut the ribbon, marking a special moment for the community. The launch day was full of fun with face painting, balloon animals, donuts, cookies, and giveaways. We are so grateful for the incredible support from Nina Allen (IPA National Project Manager), Bradley Miller (CDC Operations Manager), Mick Budd (IPA PBM), and many other fantastic partners.   Opening two stores in one week is an outstanding achievement, and we’re excited to continue growing. On day three of the IPA Member Summit, the Chemist Discount Centre team lead our annual CDC session, where we reflected upon our performance in FY24 and explored our plans for FY25. Our theme for this year’s session was Recipes for Success, ensuring our stores are equipped with the right ingredients to take on FY25! Theo Gakelos delved into the highlights from the last financial year, and Bradley Miller outlined CDC’s strategies to maximise operational efficiency and the customer experience. We were also joined by our founders, Steven Kastrinakis and John Kardis, who discussed key opportunities for improvement, as well as emphasised the importance of well-executed promotions and initiatives. The session wrapped up with our awards ceremony, celebrating stores for their fantastic performance throughout FY24, across our four awards categories: Loyalty, Dispensary, Professional Services, and Retail.
