Thanks to the generous support of Child's Play Charity, who have contributed more than $60,000 over the past five years, we've been able to bring moments of comfort and joy to sick kids at Queensland Children's Hospital during some of their toughest times. 💚 With their support, we've stocked up on Nintendo Switch consoles, iPads and more for our digital loans and bedside play programs—reaching thousands of young patients and their families every year. These devices offer more than just entertainment—they create moments of connection, provide much-needed distractions, and help kids make positive memories, even during long hospital stays. Santa's elves were hard at work this December, spreading festive cheer with the Children's Hospital Foundation! Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, we've wrapped up 2024 with some truly magical moments for patients and their families spending the holiday season in the hospital: 💚 A surprise visit from the Grinch, who brought plenty of laughs and cheeky antics to brighten the wards 💚 Premier David Crisafulli joined the celebrations, delivering holiday joy and presents to young patients and their families – even stopping by for a quick visit with Santa 💚 Minister Nicholls spread festive cheer with special gift deliveries, bringing smiles to kids ahead of Christmas 💚 The Dolphins made a splash in the inpatient wards, sharing smiles and games with young patients. 💚 Patients, families and hospital staff got into the festive spirit with a Santa meet and greet and photos – creating cherished memories 💚 Our annual toy drive saw volunteers and donors come together to pack Christmas gift boxes, ensuring every child spending the holidays in hospital felt special 💚 The community embraced the giving season through our Charity Gift Wrapping at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, raising vital funds for the Foundation. A huge thank you to all our donors, volunteers, partners and supporters who helped us deliver the difference every kid deserves this December. Here's to a joyful and impactful year ahead in 2025!

This festive season, Queensland Children's Hospital's young patients have taken on an extra special role – as official Toy Testers for the Children's Hospital Foundation's annual Toy Drive! 💚 Thanks to a generous donation from BIG W our toy testers shared their thoughts on which toys will bring the biggest smiles to kids in hospital this Christmas. From Bluey playsets to LEGO creations, their expert reviews are helping us fill our Toy Drive with holiday cheer. And what happened then? Well in Whoville they say, that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day!🎄 Thanks to our friends at Carnival Cruise Line, the Grinch made a very special visit this week to young patients and their families spending the festive season at Queensland Children's Hospital. Based on these photos, we think Christmas may be growing on him!
