Together, we’ve accomplished so much—from providing meals to children at Simbaredenga, empowering young mothers through the Radiant Futures Program, and improving education at Open Tribe School, to hosting impactful events and building meaningful partnerships. This recognition celebrates Chozen Foundation’s work with the Open Tribe School in Epworth, where we’ve provided curriculum books, desks, and chairs for students, as well as our food security farming program at Simbaredenga Children’s Home, which provides nutritious meals to over 120 children and staff on a daily basis. ✨ Transforming Classrooms, Transforming Lives✨ We’re overjoyed to share a monumental achievement at Open Tribe School in Epworth, Zimbabwe! Thanks to the incredible support from our donors and community, over 130 desks and chairs have been delivered, turning classrooms into inspiring spaces for orphans and vulnerable children. No more sitting on the floor or piecing together broken furniture—now, each student has a dedicated desk and chair that empowers them to focus, learn, and dream. This milestone is the result of a year’s dedication and teamwork. A recent fundraising campaign saw our community rally together to raise double our target, making it possible to provide desks and chairs for both students and teachers. A heartfelt thank you to the Australian Embassy Direct Aid Program and every partner who made this dream a reality. Your generosity is changing lives. But our work is far from over. We're committed to building on this momentum, creating more resources and opportunities for these young minds. Open Tribe School has come such a long way! When Chozen Foundation first discovered this school, the students had no desks or chairs to sit on, learning in conditions no child should have to face. But today, thanks to the generosity of our incredible donor community, these children have the resources they need to learn, grow, and feel a sense of purpose. We are beyond excited for what the future holds for these bright young minds. It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Dr. Saleem A. Farag, a man whose life was a testament to unconditional love and compassion. Together with Mrs. Grace Farag, Dr. Saleem founded the Newstart Children’s Home in 1999, creating a sanctuary for children affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic and those who had been abandoned. Their unwavering dedication has transformed the lives of many children, nurturing them from infancy into thriving young adults with a deep sense of belonging and family. Dr. Saleem’s legacy will forever be felt in the hearts of those he so lovingly cared for. May his soul rest in peace. 🌹 We are honored to have met him, and we deeply appreciate the words of gratitude and encouragement he shared with us as we continue to develop the food security program at the home he and his wife built for these precious children. His vision and love will continue to guide us.
