The team is onsite currently and already hard at work, with site establishment underway and bulk earthworks ongoing. Great to catch up last week with the team from Frasers Property Industrial, IVE Group and the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation to mark commencement of IVE Group’s new purpose-built facility in Melbourne. Centrally located inside the Frasers Property Industrial owned Rubix Connect Estate, the 32,702 sqm facility will house and distribute branded materials and products from IVE Group’s catalogue. This weekend, our CIP Constructions team met a major milestone as they successfully utilised a Blackhawk helicopter to install 15 Fusion air conditioning units at our Kemps Creek project. Each unit, weighing approximately three tonnes, was expertly positioned with precision, underscoring the complexity and scale of this major industrial fitout. While the Blackhawk is typically known for its agility and durability in demanding military operations, in this instance, it played a critical role in ensuring the seamless installation of these heavy units. The operation required extensive and meticulous planning in collaboration with our client, consultants, subcontractors, and surrounding sites to ensure its safe and efficient execution. Meanwhile, the broader site team continues to make excellent progress, maintaining momentum as they advance through the intricate high-end industrial fitout. Amazing start to the year for our CIP Constructions Brisbane team as they work around the clock to complete the suspended pours at our Oxley site. With over 11,000m3 of concrete poured so far, the team are progressing extremely well and are on track to complete the final pours in the coming weeks. The process, which requires precise mixing, pouring and levelling, takes over 11 hrs to dry, meaning many of the pours start in the early hours of the morning in order to dry fully in the sun. Elsewhere on site, structural steel installation continues, along with the installation of insulated panels and roofing.  #CIPConstructions #industrial #commercialconstruction

CIP Constructions is pleased to announce we’ve been awarded a new project for Centuria Industrial REIT (ASX: CIP) at 13-16 Caribou Drive Direk, South Australia. The project requires complex roofing and column changes. It will feature a 6,630sqm open-structure warehouse abutting an existing industrial facility also owned by the REIT. State Manager David Crowther said “Congratulations to everyone involved in this project win, its great to bring a new team to such an exciting build and good to see the site is already progressing so well. “Working in proximity to a neighbouring, busy live site presents unique challenges but I have every confidence our professional team will navigate these complexities with expertise. It’s great to be working with Moto Projects Pty Ltd again and we look forward to seeing the project come to life in 2025.” Currently the team is busy establishing the site, with 100mm of topsoil successfully stripped across the entire area, with pads and sub-base works expected to be ready in the coming weeks. CIP Constructions is thrilled to share that we have been awarded the build contract for Frasers Property Industrial and IVE Group’s new facility in Rubix Connect, Dandenong South, VIC. The second CIP Constructions awarded facility for IVE Group in as many years, we are looking forward to working with the IVE team again, as well as working closely with our repeat clients Frasers Property Industrial. Featuring a total site area of 52,097 sqm, including 32,002 sqm warehouse and 700 sqm of office space, the facility will also accommodate a drive-around hardstand, six recessed loading docks, 17 on-grade roller shutter doors and 228 car parking spaces. State Manager Daniel Santilli says “The initial IVE Group build remains one of CIP Constructions’ most remarkable built projects, shortlisted for a Master Builders Australia award and awarded the Property Council of Australia’s “Best Industrial or Business Park” 2024. The pressure will be on to outdo ourselves and deliver another facility of the same calibre for the IVE team, as well as for our friends at Frasers. Currently the team are on site working through the initial stages of the build, with bulk earthworks, crushed rock and stormwater underway. With just over 2 weeks to go until the big day, we have seen a major increase in gifts (as well as online shopping orders) being delivered to our offices. None of this would be possible without the postal service, working hard to ensure everything is delivered in time to be wrapped and placed under our trees. Australia Post has over 4,000 offices and distribution centres in Australia and in 2015, CIP Constructions achieved project completion on one of them – delivering the perfect package in Chullora, NSW. With a site area of 18,500m2, the distribution facility and warehouse operates 24/7, ensuring the efficient distribution of packages across the state. The facility also featured brand new office facilities, a warehouse, internal parks and roads, as well as a gatehouse and raised pedestrian walkways. Major milestones over in Western Australia as the team reach the halfway mark for the structural steel installation at our Hobson Engineering project. With c150 tonnes installed and erected, the structure is well and truly taking shape, with a view to have all structural steel finalised before Christmas. Elsewhere on site, all in-ground services have been completed, as well the office slab and fire pump room slab. The team will continue to work through the precast panels and roofing, as well as continuing the preparation for the hardstand pours.
