Our NSW team had a fantastic day out enjoying the Sydney sunshine at the Special Olympics Australia, Sydney South Division charity golf day at Cronulla Golf. Special Olympics Australia provides invaluable assistance for children and adults with intellectual disabilities & autism, giving them the opportunity to develop fitness, join a team, and most importantly have fun! We believe that disability should not be a barrier to sport, with everyone deserving the opportunity to feel empowered and be part of a team. The Sydney South division of Special Olympics Australia is a cause close to our hearts, as our NSW State Manager Scott Richardson’s sister Louise has been an active athlete in the division for over 30 years. Our South Australia team had a great day on the green, with our CA superstar Yiming even taking home a trophy - the Inaugural Inclusivity Prize. With nearly 60 women from all walks of life taking part, the day saw great conversations and connections, as well as vulnerability, with participants sharing stories about their experience in a male dominated field. Thank you to everyone involved in the event and to everyone who gave their time and effort for such an important cause. Congratulations to Linfox on the completion of its $50m, 20,000sqm+ multi-modal freight facility in Adelaide, Australia!   The new Distribution Centre consists of: 👉 14,000sqm ambient racked warehouse including on-grade docks 👉 7,000sqm of temperature-controlled rooms 👉 Capacity to move up to 450 shipping containers per week.   TMX is proud to have managed the project as superintendents, led by Andrew Walsh, Nick Cauchi, and Raph Freienstein. CIP Constructions is thrilled to showcase our latest completed build for Frasers Property Industrial and Aware Real Estate, Lot 9. Recently delivered by our NSW team, Lot 9 is a speculative facility located at The YARDS estate in Kemps Creek and features a total site area of 28,899m2, including a 15,970m2 warehouse. Designed with sustainability in mind, the Lot 9 is on track to achieve a 6 Star Green Star accreditation, the highest rating in Australia. With 200kw solar panels, rain water recycling, electric vehicle charging, sustainable product selections and a raft of other ESG initiatives, this facility is at the forefront of energy efficiency. It's the small details that show the quality in construction. Yesterday I visited the CIP Storage King site at Darlington where we are supplying and installing the structural steel. In 30 years of being around construction sites I have never encountered cleaner site toilets. It is these things that add to the comfort of all who work on site. Lots happening on site as our Adelaide team hosted a site tour and walkthrough for the wider Haigh's Chocolates Team. It was a great opportunity for our CIP team to share stories and really learn from the Haigh’s team, learning about the different sections and infrastructure of the factory as well as where the attendees would work once the build is completed. The attendees were shown through all areas, including production where they could see the scale of all 8 chocolate tanks, the fulfilment and corporate packaging area and the warehouse. Senior Project Manager Will van den Berg states “It was great to share the progress with the wider Haigh’s team and we really enjoyed having them on site to tell their stories and the Haigh’s history.
